cant say for sure about the controller since i dont own it but every controller that doesnt have analog triggers you press the upper back button to simulate half presses for instance on wiiu pro to press full R you press Zr(lower back button) to do a half press you do R and ZR at the same time, same applyes to Classic pro controller pressing ZL and L does an half press.Hello. Is the Wii U Hori Battlepad fully compatible with Nintendon't on Wii U ? Is there any problems with it ?
The Hori Battlepad doesn't have analog buttons, how does it works if I play games who using analog, like Mario Sunshine ?
We all know this since ages ago..., nintendo said every wii games on wiiu shop channel that supports CC will be able to be played with the gamepad, but again you are launching the game from wiiu mode not from vwii so no one knows how that even works, probably a patch from wiiumode wich we dont have acess at all.![]()
Whoa. Xenoblade on the eShop supports the Wii U GamePad!
A new way for wii\cube games in nintendont to implement...

Gear Icon > Features > Update Nintendontis there a way to update nintendo't through UBS Loader? everytime i do that. the update does not show up when i start nintendon't
well everything lol, every game has one there is a default one there are custom ones(exceptions) that some games need like papper mario, need for speed among manny others.Without the correct arstardma the game would freeze randomly or while loading, its something to do with the transfer rate of sound to the games.Whats arstartdma. and what have to do with nintendont?
I'm not sure it's Melee, honestly - for the most part, I'm fairly sure it's something with Nintendont, considering Melee was working fine before and the entirety of Nintendont is rejecting the PS3 controller rather than just Melee.@darklordrs Check the MD5 hash of your disc image against redump.org. It might be bad. There's a tool in my sig that will do it automatically. If it doesn't match try redumping it with something like CleanRip.
I don't think that program is compatible with Windows XP.I'm not sure it's Melee, honestly - for the most part, I'm fairly sure it's something with Nintendont, considering Melee was working fine before and the entirety of Nintendont is rejecting the PS3 controller rather than just Melee.
Edit: tried the given program; will not open as it's not a 'valid win32' program. Note that I'm running XP due to many, many setbacks.
Yeah, yeah, I figured. Lots of things aren't.I don't think that program is compatible with Windows XP.
ps3 controllers tend to screw up after awhile just hit the reset button on the ps3 controller on the backDealing with some issues right now. Nintendont 3.371 as of right now, on a Wii.
Since I have no other controllers that function properly - wiimote\nunchuk, my only other option, seems to think I'm shielding at random times which often results in me screwing up badly - I'm stuck using a dualshock 3\ps3 controller to play Melee. This was going fine until, at complete random during an Adventure Mode run as Falco, the following happened:
After a weeklong struggle to get Nintendont to open again afterwards - which it wouldn't - I came to a pretty irritating set of glitches: for one, Nintendont no longer picked up on the PS3 controller in the Nintendont menus, requiring me to use the wiimote\nunchuk to navigate them. Secondly, when I try to start Melee with my PS3 controller plugged in, the menu silently freezes at the following point:
- reach Zelda as Falco
- the game isn't taking any inputs, leaving me to be a punching bag for Sheik
- music begins looping a 3~ second portion of the Temple theme
- followed 10 seconds later by one of those horrendous crashes with that beep noise that scares the shit out of everyone who hears it

Loading patches kernel... 8

Initing storage devices... Done! [I'd like to note that that's spelled Initing in the menu itself. Typo.]

..alternately, if I plug in my controller after Melee has already started, the video freezes and the music, like before, loops until the game freezes. Fun part: through either of these methods, the Wii seems to sort of zombify. It still has the 'on' greenlight and video being outputted, but the PS3 controller stops detecting it and Wiimotes stop being able to connect to it or effect it. I can't turn the Wii off using the Wiimotes, leavin gmy only two methods of turning it off at that point to be plugging out the Wii and - oddly - plugging out the controller, which removes the "ES_Init... Done!" line for a second or two and then turns off the Wii.
I've updated Nintendont and controller.zip through the launcher repeatedly, to no avail. I can't currently afford Gamecube controllers that will last.
Edit: bothered to extract controllers.zip to the base of the SD card (d:\controllers or watev), error is just the same.
vwii files and wii files for homebrew are the same just insert your SD/USB on your wiiu and you are good to go.The thing is wiiu has a defective power output from usb doors, so if your hdd doesnt have a power cord to connect to an outlet you will need a Y cable on wiiu.Get a wiiuGC adapter, best adapter i ever got and you can use your GC controller in nintendontQuick question about Nintendont/Homebrew in general.
Can I use the same homebrew files on Wii U and Wii? I run all of my homebrew apps and backups from an external HD (no SD card) on my Wii U. I want to switch back to my old Wii temporarily so I can use a GC Controller. The Wii sees the external HD and I can boot into Nintendont (latest version), but it freezes up at "Loading, please wait..." after I select the USB drive. Tried it a few times now, same result. The last attempt forced me to pull the power cord, which corrupted by build of Nintendont. Fresh boot.dol file fixed it, but it's frozen at the same spot again.
My HDD is Fat32 format, and works perfectly on my Wii U. I was just using it to play Super Mario Sunshine when I decided to switch to the Wii so I can use the proper controller. The lack of analog triggers on the Classic Controller Pro makes that game annoying to play.
Thanks for the help
EDIT - Wii backups load just fine from Configurable USB Loader on the Wii, but GC backups don't work either way. Launching from Configurable USB Loader sends me to Nintendont, but my list of games doesn't show up. Only thing I get is the option to boot from the disk drive. Works just fine on the Wii U. IOS issue, perhaps?

I was thinking the same thing, it must be an IOS58 related issue. either it is a OLD or a modified IOS 58.nintendont runs on ios58 maybe you have a very old ios58 installed that isnt compatible.
