Well finally we have the fix. now you only need to active the option to enable the alternative forcing method on nintendont. This will not solve only paper Mario other games that has problems with forcing too.
what fix meant is the oposite, while it fixes paper mario forced stuff it could break manny other games forced stuff so yeah lets see what he decides to do with it.

He can create a rule for this game like specific game patches or let us to chose the force method applied to games in the config like he proposes.

there we go, quick and dirty solution:
-added an option to patch PAL50 when using a forced video mode, note that enabling this option will turn the patcher more aggressive and will change its compatibility
edit: I'm surprised this idea comes to me this late but I commited it before it was out of my mind again heh.
-adjusted progressive patch to the pal50 patch option accordingly

@FIX94 finally the problem is solved and we now can choose the force method. Thanks;) :yaywii:
Never thought that you commited this before. Anyway we have now that option active

hi all,
I installed the channel forwarder by badablek, it works fine, however only with it when leaving nintendont the console freezes (wii), not returning to main menu. If the forwarder is not used all is fine. Has someone have a hint to fix that?

Nintendont cannot return to system menu (only HBC or USB Loaders) because of the return stub restriction
also IOS58 patches made it hard to make nntendont game specific forwarder channels
Hopefully Fix94 can take a look when he has some spare time, if he wishes to

the menu background of mario kart gp1 sure looks cool.
happend while playing around with GX functions, only this background was drawn, everything else vanished.

Nintendont returns fine to the menu in my system, but only if the forwarder is not used.

Edit: in fact nintendont returns fine to hbc... Think I got it now :)

I haven't got the time to test the new updates due to being busy moving to a new house, but it seems the newer updates broke Pac-Man World 2 for me, the game is original PAL converted to NTSC (before anyone says "why not just use an NTSC iso" every website that labels it as NTSC has the same PAL2NTSC version) and now I get a blue screen with audio only, wither I force NTSC or leave it as "Auto" the same results, running the game from USB Loader GX with "Force Pal60" works fine though, maybe Fix94 could restore the video option "Force Pal60" again might fix the issue.

Edit: forgot to mention, the only other PAL game I have is Taxi 3 and by selecting "Auto" it seems to run fine but "Force NTSC" gives me the same results with the blue screen + audio, thought I'd mention that.

I read the last posts since my PC crash, and see there are new options and new CFG version!
I'll add them to USBLoaderGX.

I don't know what the option is for Paper Mario and the new forced PAL50 option. I hope I'll see a difference when I'll test it :p

If you do change the video please keep the option for Force Pal60, it's the only way for me right now to run Pac-Man World 2 because the newer versions of Nintendont made it you either run true PAL or force NTCS which in both cases I get audio with no video with this game but it still works fine if I run it from USB Loader GX.

btw how's the data restore going on for you?

Hi Cyan
Since youre going to modify usbloader, could you add support for reading usb1 gc games into it?
I have a config that only works this way: hd ntfs in usb0, pendrive with gc in usb1 and sd. This way usbloader only sees the games in hd and sd, not pendrive. Nintendont is able to see the pendrive and starts games normally.
If I invert hd and pendrive (usb1 and 0) usbloader sees all games, hw nintendont cannot start the games.
Thanks

Playing Soul Calibur 2 on a Wii using a PS3 controller ..brilliant ! Is there any way to add the controller support in normal USB loaders ? Also , i believe you need an actual GC memory card to save or is there a workaround ?

You can use GCMM to extract the content of your real memory card.
You can extract it as full Raw dump, or game by game in .gci format.

• Method1
Rename the full memory card dump create by GCMM as .raw and put it in your /saves/ folder.
If using this raw dump doesn't work, follow method2.

• Method2
For this method, you need an existing memory card image created by Nintendont. Launch the game you want to play at least one time with "Memory Card Emulation" option enabled.
Then use Dolphin emulator's Memory card manager to move the savegame you want from your GCMM raw dump or from a .gci file into the Nintendont memory card.

Just tested USB Loader GX r1253. Works flawlessly with newer versions of Nintendont.
Thanks a lot, I used method 2 since I don't use the Memory Card Multi function in Nintendont (so I use a single 59 blocks raw MC per game which is the default setting). Everything seems to work well and I don't have to deal with my real MC anymore :)

I've just updated Nintendont to version 3.370 by the way, what is the new Patch PAL50 option for?
Also, I think the OP should be updated with GC controller shortcuts on Wii U vWii (for both reset/shutdown), since the button combinations are not the same as when playing on regular Wii.

If you do change the video please keep the option for Force Pal60.

I never remove options and features, only add them. (unless not used/working at all like theme downloader)
no data loss, but still have a lot of reinstall and reconfigure. lot of new issues (even bugs) emerged with win7 that I didn't have to care with XP... (like cleartype, that's just plain horrible with it, and bad without it on GBAtemp....)

It's already possible. you need to set the loader's IOS to IOS58 or to use cIOS supporting port1 and enable port1 option in the loader.

Doh, it worked... I was already using dx2 b10 53alt which supports 2 usb, but needed to enable the "hd settings" to both ports and update the path for gc.
Thanks!

I thought so but I still wanted to make sure, it seems Nintendont still supports to force Pal60 but the option isn't there anymore, that's why I wanted to make sure to report that while it's not really there it still works fine and in my case it's the only way for me "yet" to run that particular game, wither it'll get fixed or not is beyond me and with the whole moving issue I won't have the time to check a lot at least until we settle down.
