another thing to take into account is usb power output is crap on wiiu and your flashdrive might sometimes loose the necessary power to run at full speed, all hdds need a Y cable or self powered, the flashdrives mostly work but you never know if the power is 100% what it needs, it might be running lower then expected by the manufactorer.
thanks for the tip pedro, i was just using a flashdrive to test out the iso which i had on my desktop. anyway, i re-ripped the game on my wii and all seems to be working smoothly through nintendont on my wii u now. cheers guys :)

yeah the most important thing is always using an md5 checked iso that one has the best compat possible.

Using 3.344 currently. I have a 5TB 4K drive formatted with 64K clusters and games play for a while and then either hangs or dies with a message saying an error has occurred. Things work fine on a 2TB drive (with 512K byte sectors).

I read that v229 might work better with these drives. Anyone have v229 available for download or other advice?

TIA

229 will have alot less games working remenber that, nintendont isnt friendly with drives that dont simulate the 512k byte scetor wich yours 5tb one probably doesnt.

It doesn't show your signature

Actually I found it, but I don't see anything on aging texture packs to games

I don't see anything on adding texturepacks to games

You want to add custom textures to games? Not going to happen

Brazilian Gradiente GC uses NTSC bios.

Do you want GAME CUBE written in Portuguese??
Yes, the bios menu of the console I had, had ptbr language.

Its the same bios, with different language then? How do I find? There is a way to rewrite(translate) the text on the gc bios?

Its not really necessary, Its only for nostalgic purposes, but nintendont already reached 100%, so...

Adding to those asking for a menu screen to appear when pressing the home button, would it be possible to add an option to go to the Wii menu instead of going back to the loader? Just a suggestion, of course priority comes to compatibility.

I have an update for the wishlist once again. Please report anything you guys want and I'll most likely add it!
Nintendont Wishlist
  • Swiss' widescreen sprite/text patching
  • 4:3/16:9 aspect ratio setting
  • More controller and adapter support
  • Home menu?
  • Ability to take screenshots and record video
  • Workaround for the menu's videomode, so PAL users with RGB cable can watch it with colours instead of everything in red.
  • A fix in Sonic Mega Collection for audio delay the first time you run a game. Currently you need to enter the Z menu at least once after you select a game for it to synch.
  • A fix for the documentary video in Mega Man Anniversary Collection losing audio after watching it for a while

Nintendont Pipe Dreams
  • Better framerate in some parts of some games
  • N64 support (New app)
  • FIFO dumping

Strikethrough shows something shot down by a dev.

Well since the Sonic Mega Collection and Mega Man Anniversary Collection were listed, it'd be cool to have Capcom Vs. SNK 2 EO (US version) working with Force Progressive enabled, I know somebody will tell me that not all games work with that setting enabled but this one used to work for a few revisions.

Also the save bug on Ultimate Spider-Man. I'm aware that selecting the smallest memory card file (59) works after formatting it in game. I found that if you save after the forced tutorial at the beginning everything works fine, you can load your game without issues, but if you complete the very first race again the Human Torch -which seems necessary to advance the story- and then save, the virtual memory card will always get corrupted. Maybe it saves only at certain parts? Maybe the more it has to keep track of things causes the corruption of the file?

Those two things still happen on v3.344 and yes, with full ISOs that have the same md5 as the ones on redump dot org.

Who edited the wiki on Peter Jackson King kong? Has anyone else verified it has a problem? or just another idiot editing the list again.

i noticed this issue on low 100s when i passed the entire game but somehow i died or restarted the game on a specific position and passed that part.I wish that guy would give his save file to test stuff becuase it could be an exception thing.

Support for proper aspect ratio perhaps?
I don't mean 4:3/16:9 but the correct one. (I don't even know if it would be possible since I'm not sure all games rendered at the same reso or AR...)
But anyway. That would be a good addition.
