what do you think could be wrong with it?

I have my step-brother's silver one I can test that see if it works if not are there any other things that could be wrong?
i have a fake wiiu pro controllers that keeps giving random values too, but i know its fake so its to be expected but yeah try another ps3 controller if the values keep changing on hidtest without any touching then something is off, the values should only change when you press buttoms or move the joysticks.

yeah I knew that all values are supposed to neutral until a button or stick is pressed

you got a minimum of 2 usb doors on the wii connect hdd on one and the ps3 controller the grey one on the other problem solved, the self powered issue is just if you are using the wiiu, the wii doesnt need self powered stuff.

I didn't think the wii would need a self powered hub I just thought it might help

i'm using v3.323 with or without the hub I still get the same effect with the DS3 plugged in it wants to go up all the time
why dont you update to 327? nintendont menu is very very sensitive, even wiimote sometimes gets stuck going up or down try to use the controller ingame only and update to 327.
