my wii boots to HBC, and im loading nintendont directly from there. it sees games but doesnt load them.
It could be the drive i guess, but would be surprised. it was working for a while on wii, and it still works fine on PC, and when i tried my friends HD yesterday i got the same issue
what do you mean it doesnt load them? what happens you see the game on the game list you click A and what happens?

if you are on vWii, do you use Y-cable to provide enough power to the HDD? You need Y-cable or an external power source as the WiiU doesn't provide enough. It's not like the Wii.

on Wii, not Wii U. Not using Y-cable no, but it was working fine for a while, then broke, then working fine for a while before breaking again, so would guess not a power issue

it seems it has to be an issue with your hdd or your wii usb port is damaged lol stuff doesnt work and stop's working randomly, i had a mem card reader that was always failling and i always tough it was the device issue, but it wasnt lol the usb cable it used was the culpright i changed it and it never failled again.

But what exactly happens when you click a game?

Wait, does the specific USB port matter anymore? I remember that at one point in time, the HDD had to be in a certain port to play GC games (I always use that port anyways).

the first time it was broke i was on the older version of nintendont and it started loading but hung on 'checking FS...'
this time since it has broke again, the splash screen loads, the text runs down, then it just goes to a black screen and hangs there.

i guess you may be right with the usb port, not really sure how i'd test that

no if you are on the latest version which is 326, the usb port doesnt amtter since 250s or something

its fairly unlikely to be honest, at least in this next half year cause I'll have quite alot todo in this university semester.

Ah, University, I completely understand. The homework must be taking up all your time. I remember staying up countless nights to finish the next due project.

Take a long hard rest. You deserve it.

Hopefully you come back and fix the last two games and add modem support.

Also if you want to make a commit then Hunter the Reckoning needs to be added to one of the exception lists. They both fix it's sound issues.

I guess my THPS3 audio stream cutoff issue fell on deaf ears? The game doesn't behave normally when you pause the game, the audio should stop but the music keep playing.
