I guess my THPS3 audio stream cutoff issue fell on deaf ears? The game doesn't behave normally when you pause the game, the audio should stop but the music keep playing.

That would require for FIX94 to actually look for the problem. Fixing the sound issues in Hunter the Reckoning is just one line of code

I thought someone a few pages back mentioned that something super minor needed to be implemented, to tell the audio streaming when to stop, nothing major, I don't remember where the post is now -_- I don't know...sorry.

Calling any dev to add that line of code to either PM or FNS exception list! Thank you

Fix94 is the only one still active and cyan said he doesn't want to do it.

So maybe it would be an idea to add someone to the list of committers that can compile nintendont and knows how to commit...
You do need crediar or someone with enough rights on the site to add this person though

no if you are on the latest version which is 326, the usb port doesnt amtter since 250s or something

wow thank you everyone. i didn't even try the other usb port 'cause everything i read said only use the outside one. tried other port, and works fine. cant believe i didnt try that before.

Thanks again

my guess then is that you have a damaged usb port then if one works with the same setup and not the other then there is an issue with that usb door somehow.

That was me and I haven't had time to look at it yet. :P

so tony hawk pro skater was luckily obvious to fix:
-added hunter the reckoning exception
-added missing audio stream playback check, fixes tony hawk pro skater 3 never pausing its audio stream

This is why Fix94 is praised everywhere lol.

yep seems that way, i think, cause on port 1 gamecube games load fine through nintendont.
my problem now is that i cant get usbloader gx to see the hd even with port set to 1, and wii flow sees HD but wont load wii games off it.

You could try the alternate version of d2x v10 (I think it's r53?) It works better with both ports but has poorer emunand compatibility.

Oh man, I can't thank you enough for not only taking time to fix that, but for Nintendont in general! ^_^

Now to wait for the Nintendont background mod to update :P

So can someone explain to me if this would work?

If you had a modded psp that had a gba emulator with a bios running, and connected it via usb, wouldnt it be possible to program nintendont to recognize the gba bios as a gba on the wii?

its fairly unlikely to be honest, at least in this next half year cause I'll have quite alot todo in this university semester.

I know someone was working on it but was having some issues but I haven't seen him here in a long time. I will not mention his name as I do not want him to be bombarded with PMs asking about it. If he's able to do it, he'll post about it.

As for the button customization, simply have it for now where the GameCube "L" and "R" can be mapped to non-analog buttons for now and add the "half-press" button that we currently have to emulate the analog triggers so games like Super Mario Sunshine can be played properly. I think the point of customizing the button is for the main buttons like "A", "B", "X", "Y", "Z", and "START" as some games desperately need to have customizable buttons as the default and alternate layouts simply make the game hard to play as they either weren't thought out enough or were dependent on the standard GameCube Controller. For me sometimes I press the "Y" button on the Wii U Pro Controller instead of the "B" simply because of mussel memory from using the GameCube Controller with those games. It shouldn't be too hard for any experienced Wii coder to implement. I'd love to help but have no experience in C.

On another note, there really should be a "Sub-Home" Menu when pressing "Home" or return to loader combo as sometimes I press "Home" when I meant to press "Start" (again, mussel memory from GameCube Controller). It should include "Return to Game" and "Return to Loader" options and maybe the "Button Layout" sub-menu. At least it will prevent people from accidentally quitting Nintendont when the meant to do something else. For example with the PS4 you don't know how many times I've pressed the "SHARE" button thinking it was the "SELECT" button due to mussel memory again because the 4 previous PS controllers had "SELECT" in that spot.

The mussel memory can be a pain in the neck for me when playing video games. Like when I switch from Borderlands to Gears of War, I wind up pressing the wrong buttons for a while.
