I don´t have a doubt cyan will put eye on this once he has a time. TBH this is really a small issue, i had already found a workaround (disabling autoboot) which isn´t really a headache; what really tampers me is the other users who believe that an app isn´t broken as long as it working for only them, as if their feedback was enough to disclose any possibility of an app not working properly. With so many possible setups (wii/wii u, hdd/sd, configurations) i find kind of douchey that stubbornness.

Sure Cyan will look at it someday.
But my idea is IF the real problem was the omittion of the HID setting from the argument list in the recent releases to cause all these problems, what might take Cyan days/weeks to fix (ways to check for new revisions reliably etc) MIGHT just take Fix twenty minutes to fix.
Of course that's all dependent on if my idea was right and on Fix's schedule.

Not sure if this has been discussed, but how come Metroid Prime 1&2 don't have widescreen support yet? Is there an issue or has it not been worked on?

And don't suggest the Prime Trilogy, I want the original controls.
metroid prime is an extremely complicated game thats why you dont even see a metroid prime hack for 16:9.

Please drop the usbloader gx talk, nintendont will never worry about if any loader works before making changes that would be stopping progress.I remenber ppl saying you could change usbloader gx to ios 58 or another one maybe thats the fix idkn check the settings.

I have never asked FIX to stop progress and fix this immediately.
If your attitude represents FIX, then I am glad that I have not and will probably never venture into Nintendont.
Imagine one day even Cyan resigned and Nintendont is still in development making changes just like that...
I won't reply any more.

I have a wii u formated drive on the bottom back usb port, hdd on bottom top usb port and the gamecube adapter on the two front usb ports; does any with this setups is able to use autoboot on usbloader gx?

That's funny now you mention your setup, having a Wii U device plugged does break nintendont, not ULGX. The only way having both apps working at the same time; with a Wii U device, is run everything on IOS58 (or IOS58 as base). Wii U device on upper rear, Wii/GC HDD on bottom, GCN adapter on right front. This is quite specific setup, but it's limited like that because d2x was developed mainly for Wii (which have only 2 USB ports), and adapted for Wii U. So instead broading saying "stuff is broken" you should research a little and find what's the cause for your problem.

EDIT: It's my last post on the matter, I think we have derailed the thread enough, my bad.

Of course i know my setup is specific:

If you hadn`t blindly quoted my post and bothered to read my further posts you would realize that i had already tried to launch nintendont without wii u formatted drive (the problem persists btw). You see, im not an idiot who screams for help as soon as a problem arises: i try to find a solution on my own before asking for help (i do "research a little"). So yes, after often testing with different setups i do have the right to say "stuff is broken". You instead of broading saying "stuff is not broken" should limit to say "stuff is working for me" thats it. I can´t believe how you all made this discussion unnecesarily long.

are you for real? so your saying once usbloader gx dev quits no more programs can be changed becuase usbloader gx would not update to support them?

Im glad most devs dont think like you and they update their own programs, your way of thinking makes no sence.

Loaders need to adapt to nintendont not the other way around, nintendont devs dont need to know the loaders codes to update their own, the loaders that want to use nintendont are the ones that need to know their own code and change it, fix has no obligation to know usbloader gx and CFG and whatever loader exists codes before updating, the way you write fix would have to know every loader code by heart and then code nintendont updates around it, its impratical and ridiculous.

The disc drive is more complicated than I thought.
-further worked on the disc read speed emulation, now it (more or less) emulates the disc drive caching which quite alot of games were dependent on, those should now run at a more proper speed again

Fixed Vexx's loading issues perfectly. Thanks!

Are you using CFG Loader? It creates both a spurious meta.xml and the nincfg.bin on my SD card instead of the USB root where it's supposed to go.
I use it directly from the HBC Channel, but yesterday I erased it and didnt reappear anymore.

"Problem" with Turok Evolution, PAL, full 1:1 iso and Nintendont r316: cinematics are automatically skipped after a few seconds.
Gameplay is fine though.

I think this should get rid of all red games on the compat list now right?
-fixed a tiny mistake in the read speed code
-added the resident evil 4 demo to the arstartdma exception list to fix it
Great work FIX94 and Nintendont Team, just amazing how far you have come with this magnificent project we all love! THANK YOU!!!

OK, I did said I will not reply any more but I just cant stand you.

Any programmer should make their program as backward compatible as possible.
Of course major changes like adding a new option inevitably break compatibility.

But if my theory of removal of the HID setting causes all the problems and may be adding back a stub setting could fix it in a simple and ease way, why not take a brief look at it.

Of course I could be wrong but even FIX haven't said anything about it (which is understandable that he is still immerse in his own progress), who are you to turn a blind eye to a suggestion?

So seeing as this is pretty much perfect what homebrew (if anything) will you turn your attention too next fix94?... Sorry it's off topic!

True, but WiiFlow is the loader that Nintendont is made to always be functional with. And CFG is a bit of a starter/has-been choice (imo, though I know many like it), so really, the major two out of the three main loaders are kept pretty consistently compatible

oooh low blow.... CFG is pretty rad I must say. simple but advanced in certain ways, I'm on the 78mod. wiiflow felt a bit cheap when fired up and looking through the options. I'll give it another go I guess and see. any settings that particularly work well to emulate what CFG has going on? wiiflow seems more like the wii with it's menus though. not a fan of GX so far.

also a question on the cover art, anyway to have all the loaders access the same files? seems like you need them in 3 places to have them working for each loader. I'm still in test mode with this thing...

Nintendont might be nearing perfect compatibility but there's some neat additions the devs can still add (still waiting for that screenshot feature!)

People who has these games, test them out with the newest v317 revision and update accordingly in the compatibility list.
Please. :P
