this probably means that FIX has to add the american version separately into the exception list

Added the USA version to the compatibility list. I'll Test the widescreen, and Mem emu later on today.

Also should i leave it green since it technically works?

i shrink a lot of iso games and a lot of them work, but if not i can go ahead stop shrink processed and can try without shrinking iso

ok! i can try that first to see it works without shrinking it with GCM Utility if it doesnt work ill use the shrink version,

What is the logic, why a 1:1 copy won't work but a shrunk version will?
If 1:1 copy works and you really want that free space then try a shrunk version but unless you test the whole game completely, there is no guarantee that it wont have problems in later part of the game.

You shouldn't use the GMC Utility to shrink. Use DM Toolbox with the Auto settings.

Anyway nice work Fix, your dedication is very impressive, most programmers would just get bored and move on by now but somehow you still work hard on this, all hard feelings aside, your perseverance is very admirable.

Having a weird issue. I'm using the latest version of Nintendont, and when I use default settings, my Wavebird's left analog stick will always be miscalibrated and drifting slightly to the right. No amount of toggling the power on the Wavebird or trying to "correct" for the offset by holding a direction while turning it on will fix this. It's not an issue with the controller itself, in fact, because the same problem doesn't occur when I set control to Native or when using the disc in Disc Channel. It's something to do with the non-Native input. It makes Super Monkey Ball pretty much unplayable, so I'm hoping this can be addressed. (NB: I'm very familiar with miscalibration due to holding the control stick in a non-centered position while plugging in a controller or booting up the console. That is NOT the issue I'm having here, although the symptom is the same. It's consistent (slightly to the right) and unrelated to how the left analog stick is oriented when initialised.)

I'm using the latest vanilla Nintendont (3.318), tested with multiple games, but immediately obvious on any level of Super Monkey Ball (you'll be drifting in a circle while not touching the stick) and Super Smash Bros. Melee (you'll be sliding right constantly on the character select screen). It still happens even if the Wavebird adapter is used for a port other than 1 as well (tested with Wavebird in second port in SSBM). These issues are present only when using Nintendont with Native set to OFF. With Native set to ON, the calibration is exactly as it was on a Gamecube or Wii with GC ports. With Native=OFF, the stick is miscalibrated. I've been using Nintendont for months with no issues whatsoever; I have only just started using my Wavebird with Nintendont, as previously I was using a wired GC controller, but my brother set his Wii up for homebrew so I let him borrow my other GC controllers.

It's important to note that this is something I've only ever encountered with the Wavebird. Using the Classic Controller, CCPro, or wired GC controllers have never given me a problem or a need to use anything other than Native=OFF. I really like the button combinations and the ability to use non-GC controllers (nearly essential for certain games), so I'm hoping this can be solved somehow so I won't be forced to use Native=ON as a workaround.

More importantly, thanks for all your work on Nintendont, FIX! It's a truly amazing piece of software!!

Check older revisions? I'm pretty sure this would have been reported and fixed way earlier if it was there from the beginning.

That's a good idea. I'll try some older ones. I seem to recall testing a Wavebird to play some less stick-intensive games like Cubivore and Animal Crossing, but Animal Crossing has a pretty small deadzone IIRC so I should have noticed it then. I guess I'll pop back to 2.275 and then 2.229 and see if it persists.

Edit: It happens as far back as 2.229. I'll try more further back later. If it makes a difference, this is a "Platinum" Wavebird.

tbh i use my gcadapter very often and i never noticed the controller stick being off tbh, but if its just with wavebird controllers well i dont have one since the new report says it only happens with wb controllers not with wired gc controllers.
