I have other Sonic games and they work fine
just take the hint try another device dont tell me you dont have a usb flashdrive laying around everyone does just try it. the only conclusion is your sd is too crappy to run games that require specific things, 4 ppl tryed your files and they work perfectly.so it has nothing to do with the files themselves it has to be the device itself.

All other games work completely fine though......

Guess I have to delete my save and start over.

backup your files on the SD, reformat the SD and then copy the files back. Might be a fragmentation problem.
Try another SD card or HDD... PNY is not a reliable brand anyway.

also fyi, even when I add a delay to my sd card reads of half a second sonic riders works fine, so your sd card must be really, really terrible.

Can anyone verify Sonic Heroes working past rev 296. If so, what region, dump, compressed/uncompressed, mceum/no mcemu, wii or wiiu, etc.

edit: or maybe I should ask, "Has anyone had issues with it past 296"

works fine for me just finished the first level.

everything off except
mcemu with 251 blocks
video forced ntsc
language auto

I made some progress getting swiss to boot with Nintendont, I remade the gcm with
the gamecube sdk so now it doesn't include the extra file systems, it runs without the gc bios + mc emulation
but with missing graphics the same as loadmii, using the gc bios + mc emulation it makes it past the purple G
Nintendo logo and you can read the disc info unlike the regular gcm, but it shows a black esi exception error screen when trying to run swiss.
Currently only dios mios runs swiss without the missing graphics.

Guys, what's with all this negativity? For the love of God, this is a community created to help noobs not to mock them and insult them like this, I may be used to being insulted but he might not take it the good way and might end up with even worse self esteem.

memoryman3 look, I can't say anything about the European version of the game since I didn't test it with Nintendont since it got fixed, but I can confirm that both NTSC versions run fine, and as I mentioned before I have a complete save for both versions in the save games thread just grab an NTSC iso of the game and test it with either your own save or use one of my saves which btw take you to the fourth race in the Heroes story (made it for testing purposes at the time) if you still have issues then you're either using an older version of Nintendont, or your device is formatted wrong (make sure it's Fat32 32 Cluster for best compatibility), if nothing works then your device is probably bad.

FIX94 Could you please get over the "Sonic games are programmed bad" now that they all work fine? We get that they're bad, they're horrible, everybody who even likes Sonic shall be shot in the chest, we get it so can we please move on? Thank you! :p

great to hear my patch also works fine on the japanese version, I only tested the first race in story mode.
Actually, this is somewhat related, even with Sonic Mega Collection, after the fix I tested both the US and Japanese version (the Japanese version is much worse, it basically never reads audio) as well as the proto version (this is by far the worst it's basically unplayable due to the noises and echos it keeps making you wish the audio just doesn't work at all) and I have to say the fix you implemented fixed all three versions too, so there's that!

?????????????
what it means is if you refuse to try another device we cant do anything, your best bet is backup your SD card on your pc then format and put everything back in again it might be becuase of too much fragmentation.

But my USB stick is formatted for Wii U......
