no need to keep a disc that will never work and fix wont code a gba emulator to boot up when that disc is initiated that makes no sence at all.

I'm still getting crashes/freezes with versions above r296 including r301. Just tried WarioWare and it froze, reverted back to r296 and all is well again.
And also if it has been mentioned before but the version I get from the googlecode site is one revision down from what it states.

same here. Since the new USB changes (with all options set to default), it crashes with my drive that has been used since the very beginning of Nintendont.

Can't play anything. Tried Resident Evil 2 : crash when the first FMV is played (starting a new game), Resident Evil Zero : crash when the first subtitles are displayed (starting a new game too).
back to r2.293, played RE0 for at least 2 hours without any problem.

ps : it seems that progressive mode does not work with component cable on my Wii (tried only with Luigi's Mansion because I know it was working). Everytime I try to force progressive mode, my TV says that the output resolution is not supported (tried to force PAL480p, PAL60, etc.).All mys consoles/computers are connected to this TV with various cables (HDMI, component, scart, etc.) and this kind of message pops up only with Nintendont with force progressive mode.

guessing we need some sort of debug code enabled to check the drives that now randomly freeze on every game not sure if that is possible without a usb gecko tbh.

I dont know why it would ever crash, data still loads the exact same way as before. A good benchmark is melee by the way, just let the intro play for a few minutes over and over again to see if the drive itself is stable.

I'll try that later, would it make any difference in regards to region with game and Wii?

I decided to test the Melee intro myself to see if the changes had affected my hard drive. I let the intro play, look away, and when I turn back towards the TV, it had froze.

Not a good sign.

Will we be seeing any Broadband Adapter emulation or network connection with Nintendont? That would be so insane to be able to play Double Dash on multiple TVs with like 8 Wii/Wii U's.

Melee froze here at the end of intro video, in the middle the audio stopped for an instant and lost sync with video.
Mario Sunshine froze mid intro movie and on second try during gameplay.
I'm using rev 301, Wii with newer drives (don't read backups) and GC ports with native controls and mcemu enabled. But Bios boot was enabled (don't know if it matters), will try later (at work right now) without it to check.
My usb drive is a Samsung M3 Portable, it's sleep time is configured to 30 minutes (the default was 5 minutes).

so as I guessed, it has nothing todo with any game, just on how much a game reads, thats why I always suggest melee for testing. So anyways I played melee for an hour now, 40 minutes of intro, then I beat classic mode, got jigglypuff and played the first 9 levels in event match, all went smooth, everything saved.

I Tried Smash Bros Melee : it froze exactly after 2 minutes (I start to count when Nintendont boots the game). I tried two times, and it frozes exactly at 2min, like there was a timer that says its' time to crash :p

EDIT : oh, and intro plays smoothly, it frozes on the title screen where push start appears

ps : just in case, my HDD does not have ANY timer to put it in sleep mode. It works great with wii and gamecube games (Nintendont rev2.293)
All my games are full 1:1 verified ISOS

EDIT 2 : back to rev 2.293 (same setup, same options, same game) : Melee works great
intro loops like it should

First two tests froze at press start screen twice. Third time went straight into classic mode and froze on second round. Music still plays.

EDIT: FIX94 just slung you a little donation, ain't much but there may be more at a later date :)

To be fair, testing the hard drive with earlier builds of Nintendont and Wii games doesn't mean it doesn't go to sleep "or if it's sleepy" better test with Dios Mios if you can, preferably earlier versions if you got access to them if you wanna make sure it'd not the hard drive going sleep, this isn't directed to you but to everyone out there who wants to see if the errors are related to hard drives going to sleep, of course there are other ways to test, personally I use an earlier version of Dios Mios, run Sonic Adventure 2, load the final story, the cutscene where Amy talks to Shadow, since it has a long ass talking sections with not BGM, great for testing sleepy hard drives, if the dialog gets delays then it's the hard drive being sleepy (not going to sleep mode).

-old, try t9 below-
This file contains nearly nothing anymore, it only loads sd and usb module (no update feature or anything), doesnt fast seek, doesnt cache any data and doesnt poke sleepy usb drives. The only purpose of this file is to test the basic usb code stability for people who experience crashes or the init di error. I would like to hear your results.
