Do you have the multiple versions to pass me the MD5's?

I assumed there was one BIOS per region. I have not ever seen any alternative versions.

There are multiple BIOS's and not just for each region see here http://www.gc-forever.com/wiki/index.php?title=WikiScene:GameCube According to this site there was only one version of the PAL BIOS but I'm sure I read another site that said there was a version 1.0 and 1.1. Not sure who's info is correct FIX said he had version1.2 but no mention of it anywhere else other than here.

Tried PAL BIOS from 6 different sources and none work on nintendont even with Kirby Air Ride

Technically, you don't have to test anything. It's just a troubleshooting request because after having tested your setup, loading directly from HBC still results in freezing. Loads saves fine with physical memory card. Perhaps someone else can confirm your result?

i have the same results here. cold boot, mcemu save loaded fine on 2.275. since you seem to still be having problems, though, i'll try and double check. there's a chance i could have done it incorrectly as i don't read japanese.

AWESOME thank you! I will update my app to incorporate these versions soon.

Would you happen to know why is it that if one launches an NGC game from within CFG the popup asking if one wants to use progressive mode does not appear but if launched from Nintendon't directly it does? What is changing? Is the flag (yeah, again with the word) not getting trough? You know, the one that says we're using "component" (although it is actually HDMI) so the game asks for progressive mode? And if that's the case... Could that be happening as well with Wii backups? (Not getting played as progressive just because the system doesn't "know" we're using component /HDMI)
Thanks for all the help man.
I really appreciate it.
CFG combines the the choices for video mode and progressive into one option. While nintendont gives you 2 seperate things to set video mode and progressive. The result is the same. if you stop the auto boot from cfg you can look at the settings. as long as the settings are the same the game behaviour will be the same. It was commented a while back that if progressive is set in nintendont options that some games dont ask because they already know.

you need to download the newest version of Nintendont. The options are the ones that you can access by pressing B inside Nintendont

Edit: if you are using Usb Loader Gx you need to download the newest version. You can find it in Cyan's signature

I'm definitely using latest Nintendont (says build Jan 12 2015) and I turned on the option in it to "Force Widescreen" but when I booted Zelda Wind Waker it was 4:3.

classic controller pro, gold version, no motion plus. Tried on Luigi's mansion, Mario Kart and Super Mario SUnshine. I'm on version 2.254. Ta
Try upgrading their have been sevreal changes that could affect your problem

theres another option somewhere below force widescreen that says "wii u widescreen" or something like that. That needs to be enabled

On my PAL wii, if I have the PAL bios the games won't boot, but my problem with 007: Everything or Nothing got fixed by loading the NTSC version with the NTSC bios :D
The rest works as well if I remove/rename the PAL bios (my luck with having a PAL Wii U :)), although the weird Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness walk bug remains for some reason (it's only that game that has issues with it).
Still, thanks for the update :D

EDIT: Would using the PAL bios on a PAL Wii U be beneficial in any way? Would it be more stable/run smoother or anything like that?

just FYI I already wrote a hack for the pal ipl to make it more stable but its not all done so it'll take me a bit to actually commit everything.
Take your time Fix! You're doing an amazing work here

For me this is the final version of Nintendont, it has everything I need and my little GC collection works flawlessly thanks for everything guys.

LumInvader, I tested the game again, paying closer attention to the choices and I can confirm that as of 2.276 the game (Mr. Driller: Drill Land) does still freeze when attempting to load from an emulated memory card. I'll update the wiki. Have you tried smaller emulated memory cards? I might try that later today.

Thanks for confirming, composerzane. And yep -- Drill Land still freezes when using smaller emulated memory cards, too.

Maybe I'll just do the other changes I planned to a later point, so heres my small pal ipl hack, I hope it helps out:
-wrote up a small pal gc ipl patch to try prevent its startup crashing
-make sure that the timer memory info is always set to the correct values

Hi i use nintendont (fantastic app by the way) with cfg usb loader, is there any way to make nintendont auto return to cfg rather than exiting to system menu when doing in game reset combo?

Not possible

Nintendont will quit to hbc when booted from a usb loader or to the wii menu if booted from the hbc
