Compilation before r234 works, but nothing after r234
GCC is the compiler... My errors are related to something that is missing.
I have never updated devkitpro in 3 years. After my last update, nothing can be compiled any more so I revert to the last functional build (it deleted my portlibs and all my own homebrews etc...)
I'll check later why my env seems broken after r234...
Well then update. There have been plenty of updates over the past 3 years.

But I don't understand why it start to be broken with code released on november 30th 2014. Why not at the beginning of nintendon't ?
Even if My compiler is outdated something else has happened...

Update your damn compiler and libs, or stop complaining. Nintendont was made to be compatible with the latest versions of everything.

I just want to understand why... Just updating is not an answer ! (well it is for people who don't understand the problem and don't want to...)
Only one lib has changed between 2 versions ! Compiler has stricktly nothing to do with the problem...

Hey guys, I didnt look much, but how exactly do I make Nintendont search for the ISOs in the HDD but not SD Card? Does it involve something like putting the iso in usb:/games/game.iso? Dont have my computer atm so I cant put this thing on my Wii. Thanks

Many libs have changed in 3 years, and they aren't compatible with all compilers. The problem is you are trying to use an out of date compiler with an incompatible library.

Just a quick question, I go to check out one of my imported games, and i remember reading that nintendo makes a separate memory card for japanese games. I went to try it out and my main memory card is apparently corrupted. I can't even edit it in dolphin, but the ninmemj.raw can be checked out, even though its blank. Is there something I did wrong? I have the option "multi" enabled btw

ugh i hate it when that happens. Sorry for that double post

edit: just realized that now it says 1019 blocks is unstable? Something i missed on that?

Hey all again, i already know this doesn't belong in this section but i don't really know how to find the correct section on this website (this one here i have to have bookmarked or else i wouldn't even know how to get back in here lol) Anyways i'm pretty sure some smart person here will know or at the very least can point in me in the right direction. Ok i did the stupid choice of getting the 8gb white console simply to save $20. It has absolutely FUCK ALL storage capacity on it. I already soft-modded the Virtual Wii and installed the homebrew channel and have a 500gb external drive connected to it for my Wii games and also for all my media as one of the programs i have installed is WiiMC (Wii Media Centre) The problem now is the other day i bought from the Eshop a copy of Bayonetta 2 and it wasn't until i put a thumb drive in i found out you can only have 1 external drive. I've tried everything - googling to see if there is a hack that will allow me to have 2 but nothing there and also googling to see if there was maybe some way i could partition a section of my external HD that the Wii U would recognise for space but the clever pricks who designed it have made that impossible. I'm now stuck with simply no space to download Bayonetta 2... some help would be appreciated.

Saddly there's no way to make a Wii U partition in a storage device, it's either Wii U format or another, you need format to device to Wii U format in order to store Bayonetta 2, I have it in retail disc so not sure about the game size, so the only solution is have two storage devices, one exclusive for Wii U, and the other for Wii, Homebrew, movies, etc.

1019 blocks is the max size released by Nintendo (the white MemoryCard), it had problems in the original hardware too, but with specific games, I don't know what games but it shouldn't be too many. For intances I'm using a 1019 blocks MC for nintendont and I've haven't any issue. Just make sure create a fresh "empty" memory card with nintendont, then import your saves through Dolphin.

The answer is staring at you in the face...YOUR COMPILER IS OLD.

If you really insist on using that old ass compiler I suggest you read the error. Its looking for a bswap16. The bswap assembly command takes a register (in x86 its EAX) and performs a swap on the bytes and is used to switch between big endian and little endian. I don't know ARM assembly but I'm assuming it uses a similar generic register. If you really want to keep to, override the the function with a define. Pretty sure you could use something like this this x = (x>> 8 & 0xff) | (x << 8 & 0xff) to solve the problem.

I think less than 5 games actually required it as they used over 300 blocks. I always use a 59 block emucard for each game. This way one game can't corrupt another and if the game is Japanese, it won't affect other games. I don't recommend Multi-Card as Nintendont still has many bugs.

As a side note, the 1019 block card has issues in Wii's too. My card kept getting corrupted in my Wii while a 251 card had no such issues. Never had that issue in my GameCube.

I haven't been able to get Mario Kart Arcade GP 1 or 2 to run. Both go to a black screen. For GP 1 I can reset the system, for GP2 I need to unplug the power to unfreeze it. Do the Triforce games require any special directories? I have them in the Gamecube directory, named game.iso. is that wrong?

More information would be helpful such as what console you are using, Nintendont version, using SD/USB, SD/USB Model and size, controller being used, Nintendont settings. The more information you provide the more likely we are to help you out.

everything also works for me and i have everything auto or off except mcemu but im using the original tv cables instead of component cables, when an iso starts shutting down your wii i experienced that with batman begins and it was the iso that got corruped on my hdd getting another solved my issue no idea why my hdd corrupted the iso until this day.

Hello
maybe fragmentation was your problem, it never knew this factor could be such important; i remember it was very essential in the playsation2 hack...

I want to report that i used the software deffragler on my FAT32 partition and i found that my F-Zero GX PAL backup was fragmented, after defragmented it, now it works flawlessy.

Nothing elses is fragmented, but my Baten Kaitos PAL DISC1 backup still goes blackscreen and/or shutdown the wii at launch.

Non-n|ntend0n-t related question:

People with the Gamecube adapters, does it work with other emulators? Not64, WiiSX, Gen+, etc? Maybe even WiiFlow? Has anybody tried?

Thanks, in advance.
