so much for ps3 controller support i used the ini that matches my hardware ids and it crapped out on me heres a video i recorded so you can make sense of it.

You are f**king kidding me!?!? Just got the new official Nintendo GameCube adapter for Wii U so i could play my GameCube games with my wavebird... got everything set up working perfectly but because that adapter doesn't work with wii games i couldn't use it for my downloaded native wii ports of Resident Evil and Resident Evil 0 so i re-downloaded the GC ports of both instead. I remember ages ago the problem on RE 0 where you get to the part where you have to put the dial on the door to open the room where the rail car is... that was quite awhile ago and there is also a new version of Nintendont that has come out since then which i have but still just now when i got to the dial bit it freezes!! You've gotta be kidding ffs!! Someone please tell me there is a fix to this???
if you keep demanding fixs with this atitude you will go far...

srs people are developing this on their free time without getting paid and this seems to be the most ungratefull post i ever seen here.

Just download the controllers folder on the first post and put the entire folder on the root of your device.

go into settings and download controller ini within nintendont it will download and extract all controller inis already made perfectly and updated and try again.

Hello everyone

I use an older version of Wiiflow (4.1.3-r439), because I made a custom theme for it and I'd love to keep it.
I also use the latest version of Nintendont (v2.253).

Wiiflow recognizes all my Gamecube games, shows the covers and banners...
But evertime I try to start a Gamecube game I only get a black screen and Wiiflow reboots!

When I start the same games in the homebrewchannel they work fine...

What am I doing wrong? Please help:-(

Why does it take like a few seconds for the save to get actually written to the SD/USB?

At least in three games I noticed an annoying stutter right after saving. I enabled real memory cards and the stutter was gone. I also tried with a version of nintendont with IRQ_INSTANT as default just in case but the stutter was still there; it only sped up the 'now saving' animations.

One of the games is Melee, when you select a character the announcer sometimes bleeps the character's name. The other two cases are Sonic games so I won't go into too much detail; the audio and video just stutter for a few seconds, in one of the games the audio stays distorted until something else is loaded.
From what I could tell IRQ_INSTANT helped Melee reduce the bleeps but they were still there even with real memory cards.

why do ppl enable native controlls without knowing what they are?

They probably see the word controls and assume it needs to be on

maybe it can be made to not do anything on Wii U? Like how having HID on or off in the past always made HID controllers on when on a Wii U.

maybe that option shouldnt even appear if on a wiiu or any wii that isnt s wii with gc ports.

they let you use the prpper gc controllers but since the ds3 is emulating that i assumed it should be on, but i knew it was the issue :) anyways thanks very much to the people who helped me play my oldschool tony hawks and nfsu2 :D ive had these dumped for years

The HID controllers aren't being emulated. The gamecube ports are being emulated. Enabling Native Controls uses the actual gamecube ports instead of emulating them.

Actually that's not a bad idea, when Nint starts it checks if you have Mios or not, if not then it automatically locks the Native Controls option, I think that could work.
