I tested both NTSC-U Mega Man X: Command Mission [GXRE08] and the PAL (En,Fr,De)[GXRP08] versions, 1:1rips, and the game freezes during normal play.

However, I noticed that the american GXRE08 version freezes RIGHT after 5 minutes of normal play, 10 tops. On the other hand, the european GXRP08 lasted almost the entire first chapter before it froze on me.

The freeze seems to be completely random, sometimes it's during the intro FMV, sometimes when I'm walking around and sometimes mid-fight, although the last one is rare.

nintendont ver. 2.146 was used.

I don't know if my USB is the problem or not, although I admitedly doubt so because I've been playing normally other games. I should mention, I think, that Command Mission does not recognize the Wave Bird controller, only the regular wired controller.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Try version 2.148 to see if it acts any different or if it still locks up.

Alright, tested with 2.148.

USA version freezes in the OP FMV or, alternatively, normal play.

European version does the exact same, however the Eurpean version can't read the Wave Bird controller, while the USA version can.

Then yes, something is broken and will need to be looked into... ;)

Why are people changing the games marked as green to orange if they only have issues in skip-able cutscenes? If the game is 100% playable then it should be marked as green. If the cutscene is unskipable and causes crashes then it should be marked as red or orange.

yeah it appears some random person has changed all the green games which had some cutscenes issues to orange and a abunch of them lol people dont get the game itself is 100% playable is the cutscene is too fast or lags or whatever that doesnt make the game be turned into orange just add those glitches to the notes.

Made some more testing, here's the result:

-@SuperrSonic I tried your version and it makes a loud noise instead of reading audio, I love the concept though, maybe a similar option can be applied to Nintendont to enable/disable the extra text?

-I still have disc swap not working, not sure what am I doing wrong, I tried messing up with the settings, disabling and enabling disc led, no difference aside from blinking when I reach the end of the first disc, can someone help me?

-Turned out the issue I had with USB Loader GX creating 16MB save files was me accidently setting the options to that, I switched to 2MB now!

for your disc swap problem make sure disc 1 is named game.iso and disc 2 is named disc2.iso and in the same folder also try it with another 2 disc game and start disc 2 and when it asks it should load disc 1 automatically

Speaking of colors, should MMX: Command Mission be changed to orange? Since it freezes randomly when walking around, or fighting enemies.

I did all that just fine, they worked great with DM but not Nintendont!

Also regarding Megaman X Command Mission game seemed to work just fine for me with Nintendont, 1:1 copy USA, but it did crash at random areas in DM and that problem was never fixed!

It matters how often it happens. If it's very rare then it should stay green. If it freezes minutes after boot then it should be orange

That's the thing, it seems to crash every few minutes (10-tops) both in 1:1 USA and Europe ISOs after boot.

No shrinking or FST was done, either...

Mark it as orange. The devs will look at it eventually and fix it

I don't want to play a game that crashes every 10 minutes and neither do most of us here.

what 2 disc game are you trying to play nintendont may have a problem with it did you try with another two disc game

Done, marked that it was 2.148 and all that jazz. :)
you forgot the most important thing put the last working version on there, how will the devs know the last version where it was working without crashes? please while edit the compat from a working game to noone working you should put the version that was green there on last working version or else we arent going anywhere...

Fixed. Last reported working version for both versions of MMX: Command Mission was v1.128.

Okay, I can't even get the classic controller pro to respond. I'm using this adapter:

Any help?

Is it on the list in the first post? If not, then it's no surprise it doesn't work because there wasn't certainty that it would. Your only choice is to either get a different controller/adapter, or try to pm one of the devs to see if you can get some help which is hard because they'll either need to have the same adapter, or ask you to give as much info as you can about it to help pinpoint the issue; so you'll have to be patient if you go this route.. Howard is the one who's spent most time dealing with controller issues, so maybe he can help you; not sure how often he gets online though.
