Finally got around testing version 142, the multi memory card feature is a nice add (not sure when was it added but it's very handy) I wonder what happens when it's full, does Nintendont automatically starts another one or should I start making a custom one for each game after that? Guess I'm worrying for nothing it's gonna take a long time before I fill the whole thing! :p

Testing games I can conform that:

-Sonic Gems Collection crashes when booting up Sonic CD, it was working fine a few builds ago.

-Mario Kart Arcade GP has controller issues when enabling memory card (GC controllers) by disabling save it works fine.

-Billy Hatcher still crashes on save screen unless memory card is disabled.

-The noise in Sonic Adventure is gone now and the game doesn't crash anymore (least not from my testing) but the game still double-taps the keays, playing the Game Gear ones seem to work fine though, funny the Alpha build still runs fine.

-The Simpsons Road Rage still freezes on start screen.

Everything else seems to work fine, a few questions if I may ask:

-Is there a way to convert my QuadForce saves to work with Nintendont? (or at lease can someone share a complete save for both Mario games?)

-Is there a way to enable memory card in slot 2 in games like Sonic Adventure 2 for the Chao Garden?

Thanks for all the hard work guys!

Tested games in latest version v1.142:

-Gladius (PAL). Black screen on boot. It seems it worked fine on v1.131
-Spartan Total Warrior (PAL). Black screen on boot.

Tested in a normal Wii (PAL).

Are there any news about implementing a second HID controller support? Since I have the stupid Wii Family Edition that comes with no GC ports, I can only play alone. Or are there any gadgets that can help me enable second controller support (aside from soldering the GC ports directly) via gadgets/converters/adapters?

Hello there, I need a bit of help you all.

I cant figure out in the repository what controller INI is for what controller. https://github.com/Nanolx/nintendont-controller

The one that says ps2_ and ps3_ is easy, but the ones I dont know is like "nintendont_wiiccprousb.ini" nintendont_wiiccusb.ini "nintendont_wiiuprousb.ini"

And, if I have an old school GC controller, what INI do I need for that?

Please and thanks.

if you have a gc controller you dont need any ini just plug the controller and thats it.

no, it's still working great since v1.130 (i just played it again today).
you have to change your disc image, it seems to be corrupt.
Alright I'll try a clean copy, I used discex format and it worked fine with Dios Mios before, thanks for the confirmation!

Edit: Damn it! I just realized I said "Simpsons Road Rage" but I meant "Simpsons Hit & Run" I know the former works fine, I'll still try a clean rip for Hit & Run might solve the problem!

The game worked in r127, meaning it was broken since that revision. Maybe the new multidol loading mechanism broke it?
That's what I'm thinking, anyway this could be tracked down and fixed in the next revision? Since the game requires a disc in DM and I liked being able to run it with Nintendont fine!

pedro702 I deleted the INI files and I still cant load games. When it loads the nintendont loader, it stop at this screen "plug controller on top USB port"

The possibly troubling issue is that it's just Sonic CD and not the other two, the difference between those two is that they load independent save files, but Sonic CD needs to have the main savefile(the settings one) loaded otherwise the game will crash like it is doing now so maybe that's the cause.

Thanks for info... Where do you turn off the option? I am new at this :(
when seeing the game list just press B on the wiimote and you will see the settings and that option is disabled by default if your new how did it got activated on the first place?

U didn't mention if u have an older Wii with GC ports or one w/o (family edition), if u have one w/o ports u will need an adapter to use your GC remote, if you have ports turn off HID and just plug in your GC controller. The ini's your asking about are self explanatory:
wiiccusb = Wii Classic Controller
wiiccprousb = Wii Classic Controller Pro
wiiuprousb = Wii U Pro Controller

They all say USB cuz they need to be connected via a compatible USB HID adapter since it's the only control method Nintendont is coded to support for now with non-GC Wii's.

Thanks everyone for the help so quickly. I still cant get it to load..... I mean, if it loads the game it asks me for a HID usb controller to be plugged in. If it dont ask me, it just wont load. Guess I was not meant to have this working lol.

FYI, I have old wii with GC ports :)

Did you turn off the HID setting? What happens when you say "if it doesn't ask me, it just won't load"?

what game are you even trying to load? some games dont work yet if hid is off there is no reason to not load

smash bros.... I got it working finally.... dont know how but it worked... but now I think my GC controller is broken cause all I can do is move side to side lol.... I will just go with a PS3 controller and whatever :)

When i said "if it doesn't ask me, it just won't load" all it does it load the nintendont and show me the directories like SD and USB and if I click on any of them it just freezes.
