if im using game that are pal and ntsc. would it matter which bios/ipl.bin im using? im using a european bios. i only ask because spyro a heroes tale wont load and burnout 2!! i can only guess that i dont have the right bios or its because my iso's are corrupted (but they both work with dios mios) so that emplys to me they are ok??

I don't know if they would make a difference as I'm pretty sure nintendont would load the file regardless of which region it is, but in any case, the safest bet would be to try using the font_ansi.bin instead of ipl.bin as that one is only the font and shouldn't be affected by the game's region (except japanese games of course).

okay ill give it ago cheers mate. i just want to narrow down why im the only one having problems with 2 games that are reported on the compatability list as working with bios/font_ansi.bin

On v1.62 gamecube controller reset is not working, using WiiU with mayflash 3 in 1

Checking on this...

Edit:Burnout 2, Spyro a heroes tail, and Mayflash 3 in 1 Magic Joy Box reset all work in r62

Are you using the controller.ini from the repository?

Any problems so far with r62 and Super Mario Sunshine/Luigi's Mansion?
Has the freezing issue been fixed for those games with the ARQPostRequest patch skipping?

I'm not able to compile Nintendon't anymore and I don't understand why...

The bat file gives me a lot of errors, but it works when I compile it in command line (quiet long...)
All other homebrews have no problem, even mini is OK.
The errors reported are also not errors...

Edit :
Found what's wrong... I installed Borland C++ Builder to compile an old software and it sets a path "before" devkitpro's path... The "make" now used is the one from Borland (MAKE Version 5.2 Copyright (c) 1987, 1999 Inprise Corp.)

it could be that the extension you use on that particular game gives problems, try to get a new iso and use the full iso or discex i can agarantee you disc ex works on both of those games same with full iso but i never used yours, some games dont like being compressed so that might be it.

Using controller.ini from repository and it was actually 1.61, been trying to download 1.62 from google code page and repository but its always 1.61

That's because there isn't a "1.62", r62 it's "1.61 correctly compiled" so there wasn't a need to change the version number again.

Ever since they changed to the new repository the devs made clear that we should make a distinction between a revision and a version, as even a simple change in the wikis would be a new revision, while keeping the version at the same number.

Thanks for the clarification

The make from devkitpro (aka GNU make) is wayy better than older version of make.
