rear port i have wii u
dual shock 3
i rename controller.ini
root on usb samsung
paste games
game mario party 7
cable y usb 3
format 32
Your Hard Drive is in the Top back port and controller in the Bottom back port?
if top back doesn't work?
test Y-USB cable, if Y-USB cable doesn't work yet?
try to change polltype=1 (if polltype=0 doesn't work, your ps3 controller could be generic)

For the HDD and USB sticks compatibility, there might be an issue depending on the way the partitions are built.
I had trouble with some USB sticks some years ago...
When they're new, sometimes the main partition is not a primary one but an extended one.
And sometimes they show up as "removable device" or "hard drive", this type can be changed (but don't remember how to change this...)

hey i know how to do that what i want to know is how to convert .gci to .raw. i play games on dolphin and i want to transfer my .gci saves to nintendont but nintendont only reads .raw save file.
so i can transfer .raw to gci with dolphin but idk how to do the opposite gci to raw help.
You don't convert .gci to .raw

gci is a save
raw is a memory card
you need to insert the gci inside the raw, using the Dolphin memory card manager.

Dolphin > tools > memory card manager
Open the Raw memory card created by nintendont
select Import GCI
pick your GCI file to insert into the memcard.raw
If it tells you the save is already present, you have to delete the single save present in the raw first.

Oddly, it doesn't work with Mario sunshine :(
The save is not correctly/fully written in the individual 2MB GMSE.raw, while it worked fine with the 16MB NINMEM.raw card.

do you have your sd card formatted with highest cluster size possible
if it gives that error with mcemu on or off then it is not your save file just format to fat32 with 64k cluster size if possible if that still don't work then sd card is not fast enough

It gives me the same result whether I cache or not. Will try to format USB drive to those specifications. Can't format SD Card as it has all homebrew files.

I he an easier way. And it does not involve using Dolphin in any way.

First you need an actual gc memory card (empty preferably). And GCMM homebrew app.

Download or acquire your gci files in whatever way (gamefaqs is a good source for complete save files). Copy the gci files to either SD card or USB into the folder MCBACKUP. Load GCMM from homebrew channel. Restore your gci files to the actual memory card then do a Raw dump of the memory card. Copy the <rawdump>.raw file from MCBACKUP folder to your saves folder and rename the <rawdump>.raw to <gameid>.raw. All done.

I managed to get all my saves to raw format using only GCMM and WiiXplorer.
And it works with Mario Sunshine.

I've converted my original Super Mario Sunshine save file successfully and currently use it with Nintendon't with no problems.

Anyone knows why MGS Twin Snakes will crash after starting a game on the codec screen and return to home-brew channel ? That's on Wii U using the latest nintendont on USB, but i had the same issue with one of the first release that added USB support. According to the compatibility list, this game works fine... :(

If anyone is having trouble converting GCI saves to work with Nintendont I am happy to perform conversions. Just PM me your GCI files (No more than 10 at a time with no duplicate game saves) and I will PM the RAW file back. Please include a list of game title ids with the GCI files.

could somebody test SSBM on USB stick? mine take 20 seconds on now loading after picking a stage...

Yeah i noticed that loading in certain games has gotten slower, takes about 6 extra seconds on loading screens on SSBM with 1.43. Last version that loaded normally that i tested was 1.29 so i have no idea what was changed. Seems to happen with RE0 and RE3 too ,longer loading times between screens and doors, but those may just be my old saves acting up. I had a fresh save with SSBM. This is from a 45/mbs SD card.

Then try to test each revision since 1.29 to see which one the issue began with.
