Tested 2 Triforce games ("Virtua Striker 4 ver. 2006" and "Mario Kart GP1")
with necessary ipl.bin.

However, I got "black screen" after "loading main.dol........" .
(either load the game from USB or SD)
airline.. i think nintendont not support triiforce now...

faku1810 zombieman are you using the crediar's "cache.txt"?
I was doing so test, delete some of the files listed to be cached and it worked but i think my wii is running out of memory so it might explain why it is getting an error
Edit: i deleted all but 7 files so the game run the same as it did without it but the game run with it

so, that mean your cache.txt does not working

after booting game before nintendo logo takes about 10 seconds to load, if game booted quickly, your cache.txt isn't running

i left 7 files to be cached on the cache.txt file but it was not the right ones to speed up the loading

should we add a cache button next to the compat list now?it would be the best so ppl could upload their caches

I think that should wait until we have a detailed method to actually make the cache files. For starters, I want to ask crediar how we would go about caching files inside a subfolder in the iso, SSBM had all the files in the root, but other games like zelda have them split in several folders.

Edit: also, you asked previously about the font_ansi.bin, it goes in the root of the sd/usb, (depending on where you have your games i guess)

so; cache.txt is not loading. i said

You can't tell if it's loading the txt or not, most likely it's as he said, the cache.txt is loaded and caches some files, but not the ones related to the game boot. If you had the slightest idea about what caching is you would understand the difference.

I might be wrong, but I don't think there should be differences in the available memory between your Wii and my Wii, you should try adding one file at a time to the cache to see if there's a particular file that breaks it and gives an error. I know it's a pain to do, but it would be useful for you and to understand what might be wrong.

PD: Anyways, SSBM was never THAT slow so I consider this whole thing like an experiment to see how to get cache working for everyone and what kind of things should be taken into account when creating files for other games.

I didn't think there would be a difference, oh well, that would indeed be a pain but that is probably the best thing to do but i don't know if i want to spend all day on one game but i'll try it later i guess
