it's the original nintendo gamecube wireless wavebird controller, also using the controller.ini for the mayflash that's found on the project page

The problem is the wavebird is not the same as the original wired gamecube controller. Each controller.ini is SPECIFICALLY for that controller. The Magic Joy Box ONLY works with the original wired gamecube controller.

I have a WiiU and have only been able to try the front usb port as my hard drive is connected by the y-cable.

Another problem is that you're using front usb. Only the back bottom port on wiiu can be used for the controller for now

I use Wii. I know that the Wii has usb 2.0 ports and the Ps2 uses usb 1.4 I believe. But it won't make a difference in loading Times?

no because the ports are not meant for 3.0 and can only pass through the amount of data they were made for. thats why you cant get faster speeds on a pc using a usb 3.0 in a usb 2.0 port.

I guess the wavebird isn't even HID compatible, tried using the HIDTest and could not get any response

the wavebird can't be HID compatible because it doesn't have a usb end. The Mayflash 3 in 1 Magic Joy Box is the HID compatible device your using.

It just seems the wavebird is not compatible with the Mayflash 3 in 1 Magic Joy Box

Just to confirm, the latest revision of nintendont on the google code now has the same audio compatibility as r86 with the flagged DSP patches right?

Any idea why it only sees them when using sd? I'm going to check it out for sure. I had no idea they could be used.

I don't think dspv7 has been added yet. Strangely enough I tried Shadow the Hedgehog and it had sound. Either they added it without posting or Shadow the Hedgehog is not dspv7.

Even the coder who added the usb version was unsure why only the back port could be used with the usb version while the sd version can use the front or back port.
