just commited a new rev which attempts to fix some crashes and stuff you guys had.
this definitely fixed the crashes I got when loading from USBLoaderGX :)
EDIT: wait no I just got another code dump... they're definitely less frequent tho

1 question, anyone have problems with gamecube controller to reset/shutdown combo?
For me it doesn't work, but the controller work ok on the games.

Ah, guys how do you play Mario Sunshine with L/R triggers soft clicking? mine's always on heavy clicking..so i can't move while splashing water. just standing. is there a way to fix this through the controller.ini?

I want to know why loading game from usb device, controller must in bottom rear usb port, can this be solved?
I use Mayflash_3_in_1_Magic_Joy_Box adapter and GC controller, plug in front usb, frezee at "loading patched kernel ..... 8", "Init HID devices.... Plug Controller in BOTTOM REAR usb port".

the controller must be in the bottom rear usb port because that is the way the wii/wii u handles it (or something)

This is because the two usb ports in the front are not a part of regular Wiis. Remember that this is being done through the vWii and not natively on the Wii U. However, it has been stated that these ports should at some point be accessible, its just a lower priority right now to figure this out. I'd say give it some time, I'm anxious for front usb controller support too, but I understand why it isn't a thing yet.

if it's digital, it can't be analog.
how would you want to half-press a button ? maybe with a combo? that would be very hard to play a game like that.

usually, controllers have L1/L2/R1/R2, so there's an unused button which can be used for alternate state.
L2 = half pressed
R2 = Half pressed
R1 = Z
L1 = nothing
L1 + L2 = Full pressed
L1 + R2 = Full pressed

That's the only way I see you can get different values with digital controllers.
You can't use Stick values as you need to move the water jet and walk at the same time.

That's easier to buy another controller.

PS2 4 main buttons are analog, but it's very sensible/hard set the precision like you want. And only G.T. used it?
I don't remember if triggers are, I don't think they are.
