WARNING: this revision breaks memory card emulation
also, sorry about my terrible asm code, I am happy that it works

Then exactly what is broken then? The 2 or 3 games that can actually save?

I don't know, that's why I asked him if he meant some games in particular or the ones that are know to be broken due to changes in patch.c in r61 and r62.

Since Joostin fixed Melee in r62, I checked if it would still work in r66, and it does. So my guess is that at least Wind Waker, Mario Sunshine, Double Dash and Luigi's Mansion are the ones that don't work in the latest revision.

Can FIX94 could change the future???? :O

Adeka SSBM MCEmu must be switched ON to avoid getting stuck on "There is no Memory Card in Slot A"on USA version. So, try the European version... the EUR version you can still playing it with MCemu switched OFF..

I know that, I have a video on youtube of me playing it. Someone on this thread said don't turn on mc emu

Loaded SSBM again (freezes with MCEmu on), The rest of the games that i have gave me Exception DSI...

controller.ini still necessary? anyways i still have it.

The changelog for the revision doesn't say anything about controller.ini not being used anymore, so there's no reason to think that it isn't necessary. Anyways, I have no idea what could be your problem, I've tested r66 with no major issues. Try a different usb device, like a thumb drive or something. Or try loading a game from the sd.

In r66 release where do you read that "controller.ini" is not needed anymore. test yourself an post back you seem to be bored or a pest . you are going to piss the Dev's off with all your random .

I'm just asking if it is necessary, and i know it revision doesn't say anything about controller.ini, I doubt because on r66 changes it says HID/PS3Controller.h, HID/hidmem.h, HID/global.h and i thought the controller.ini could not being necessary, but i seen it's still being necesary.

Games have Exception (DSI), but i could play SSBM flawlessly anyways! Hope this fixed...

OK I just spent the last 20 minutes trying to figure this revision out and i'm hoping someone else can test and confirm it works like this.

Games play with Memory Card Emulation off but if you turn it on then the controller will not work.

Am I correct?

Edit: I should mention i'm on a Wii U

I'll say two things to you.. or maybe three..

1) If you don't see a message that says "X change made so controller.ini isn't necessary anymore", then you shouldn't make assumptions based on something as vague as "there were some files in a HID folder". Specially if the changelog already explains what kind of changes were made to the controller's code.

2) I hate being harsh, but bm123456 is right. If you keep posting random things you'll fill up the pages with useless posts that don't help anyone and even more, can be a bother to some.

3) I think it's VERY difficult to fix something that only happens to you. I don't know what's so different between your setup and Adeka's (just giving an example, because he has a Wii U as well) but I'm utterly amazed on how many issues you find with every revision. But here's the good news, I had that kind of DSI exceptions a couple of times when trying to load from Loader GX, if you haven't done so yet then launch Nintendont from the Homebrew Channel and try.

Does the same happen with SSBM having MCEmu on? Apparently JuanLeOnardO could play it flawlessly despite his problems with other games.

Melee has the same problem. The newest revision actually makes it unplayable now. I'm now sure how hes playing it.

Have you tested r66? Try to boot games with mc emulation on and see if the controller works.

I have a Wii, but I've tested r66 (well, my own build anyways, the only change is that Wind Waker saves work) with both Melee and Wind Waker and MCEmu on. The first time it didn't recognize my controller, but after resetting and making sure the cable was plugged correctly I tried again and it worked fine.
