Are you loading games from USB? No error appears on your screen before losing signal? Is the Wii GC compatible or your using an adaptor?

Some Wii seem to get a -1 kernel error but the reason is unknown, it sounds like that might be your problem.
I don't see any errors, it loses signal basically as soon as I press a, the Wii is GC compatible its an original white one. I am using USB, in the same format that works for both mios and devo 32k fat, could it be the access speed? I'll look closely and see if I see a kernel 1 error as you said but it's really not that essential... I'll try loading from SD and see if that works. Let me know if you have any ideas.

NTSC-U and Obviously; i have the controller.ini on the root where the games are located (as sabykos said on 1st post) Lol, without boot.dol, i might not asking any of these troubles; and meta.xml, icon.png are description and logo so that doesn't matter. Tomorrow i'll test r38 just you said.. and my controller works very fine with HIDTestv4 by crediar and controller.ini previously doesn't recognized on front usb's, changing to top back USB, now Controller works successfully!

the fact that it's being recognized doesn't mean it won't affect the app, as you've said yourself there's another user with similar problems and the only difference between you two and the people that got it to work is the controller (from what's been discussed so far)

and no need to try being a smartass with me, I clarified what is necessary so you don't start asking for bin's and stuff that you don't need. And just so you know, some meta.xml are indeed necessary, check Usb loader gx's for example. I can't remember if Nintendont had something extra in its xml as well

If you can load from Sd try r38, as Adeka said that was the last revision that used those numbers for the errors. In latest revision it may or may not appear as -1. I have the same issue as you with a Family Edition Wii (the new model) but I don't have a big enough sd card so I couldn't try it. Other than that there's not much to do.

There was at least one other user that was trying to get help for this, but without an usbgecko to debug and stuff, i don't think we can do much.

Oh thanks sorry didn't refresh :P. I'll test with r38 in the morning then, and test both revisions with and without SD. For fun I think I'll launch r38 with gx, though I think I remember cyan posting something about a usbloader.dol that is needed as well to launch from gx.. I'll see if I can find the post or if I'm just crazy...

mod5 works up to r41 (even with USB, just put loaderusb.dol in the same folder as loader.dol)
r42 introduces MaxPads settings and incremented the CFG version so it won't work. I'll release it probably this weekend if my computer is fixed.
Here it is... Do you know what loaderusb.dol is?

The same loader.dol that nintendont uses, but renamed differently. So you can copy and paste the same dol And then rename it

Edit: don't use the loaderusb.dol from there, that's the old revision. It's been merged in the last revision, that's why it must be renamed.

OK, thanks! Will do

what size hard drives is everybody using for nintendont?? i only ask because i get pasted Nintendont kernel looping, loading game... but then just black screens. i cant get my games to load and i think its either because im using a 1.5 TB or its because my games are converted to GCReEx format
2tb western digital here nintendont works good
Same here, got a 2TB Verbatim case Drive (drive is samsung i think). I even got my original usb3 cable attached to it, and it works fine with nintendont.

You have to use the back usb slot for your hid device if launching nintendont from usb (they have not yet added front usb slots on nintendont running from usb)

Ok i did some tests on my white wii(pity no real MC support), all games on USB r44.

Asterix and Obelix XXL (PAL) [GAGP70] - Works, sound ok MC emu ok
All Start Baseball 2004 [GA4E51] - Doesn't Work - Blank Screen
Disney's Donald Duck - Goin' Quackers (USA) [GDDE41] - Intro, Menu ok, MC Doesn't Work, ingame severe graphic glitches

Only tested this ones now, kids wanted to play :P

always have the same problem in HID
does not recognize the control, already tried usb ps2 and ps3 but whenever control of it. what could it be?
someone help me please.

I'm using a 2tb seagate drive and i'm using the exact same dumps I use for Devolution. Works perfectly as you can see in my video.

Anybody who is using a Wii U make sure you plug the hard drive in the top back slot and the controller in the bottom back slot.

Edit: I should mention that my hdd is NOT compatible with dios mios

I'm not trying to be smartass with you. meta.xml is just the loader's info. Nintendont r38 uses SD Card, and i'm using USB version with r44, and everything loads perfectly; i think it's my game 'cause on Nintendont kernel looping, loading game... reboots the entire console... now, tested again with a borrowed original PS3 controller; ps3 controller.ini are the same :/
