thank you. I am actually getting an older wii that is compatible with gc in a month or so that will be my main wii/gc. I also have an old gamecube with no hookups and broken laser and one controller so i am wanting to try and do something with the two, possibly solder in some ports if i figure it out.
How did you make a homemade adapter?

Strange when I load windwaker it loses video and returns to the wii u menu anyone know what I'm doing wrong
. Tried two sd cards Kodak 2gb and sandisk 8gb. When it loses video on my tv on the gamepad it says loading patched kernal 4 then returns to wii u menu.

I haven't really tried Nintendont yet (since I don't have the game) but I did get it set up correctly, I'll just post this question here it may help others.

Did anybody who has Nintendont and Zelda try loading it with an SD that isn't compatible with DML/QF? I'm assuming maybe a lot of people are having issues due to their SD cards being incompatible with Nintendont like with DML/QF before, because while I don't have the game (nor plan on getting it) I seem to get it working from the first try.

how you cut without weak the dvd structure? Because it can broke inside the drive if made in a bad way. Anyone who wants to try be aware the risk.
You have a secure way to do a clean cut?

Edit: lol, the razor blade... Well, someone could find a better way maybe.

sabykos the uploaded link are down...

Crediar say on twitter: "Since I'm currently working on a project(not console/handheld related)which will take at least this whole month, there won't be any updates."
Sigh... i hope him make lot of money with this project, and after him can comeback to console/handheld project...

Great. I guess this means we won't get it in time for christmas. :(

To be honest, I'm not feeling all that impatient. At least, not in this case. Crediar will release it when it's ready. I wouldn't want him to release software that has bugs in it because people were rushing him. Crediar seems to work at his own pace, and i'm just fine with that, because what he does is awesome.

Coding is really hard work, and i'd imagine it'll be a good bit of time before we'll see something go public.

I have a third party ps3 controller passes hid test do i just rename controller
ps3.ini to controller.ini

Yes.
Put the controller.ini on the SD card root.
inside the ini you need the PID/VID information and the buttons correspondance.

If the found PID/VID in the hid test matches the one in the controller_ps3.ini, then just rename that file.
If not, replace the PID/VID too.

If buttons are wrong, then the controller_ps3.ini sample is not using the same buttons configuration than your controller. You can create your own controller.ini if you want. look in the first post, there's a link to a tutorial.
If you create a new working ini file, please share it with other users.

who can try GIMX (emulator of sixaxis for pc+bluetooth or with serial to usb adapter) with devo/nintendont?

Would love to be able to code like that tbh, always thought it'd be cool to learn

I Forgot to add i smoothed the inside where it pops in.

I have a third party ps3 controller and at first it passed the hid test now hid test gives an error (control message 7004 failed) does this mean its not compatable? Nintendont when loaded says loading patched kernal 4 then loses video and goes back to wii u menu. Is my problem incompatable controller.

Can someone please tell me how to get this alpha version working. I have tried on 3 different sd cards (SD not SDHC) game folder/gamename/game.iso and controller ini are in the correct place; when i load nintendont from homebrew channel it doesn't show any game info I.E no game name and if I press A it code dumps with DSI error. Exactly the same on both my 4.3E Wii and WiiU. Tried TDK 2gb SD, Verbatim 2gb SD, and also Sandisk 2gb SD. Tried it also with 32gb class 10 sdhc card but did exactly the same thing. Any way to get this to work? Are all my SD cards incompatible?

Funny! All my cards work with DML. Is there any other reason I would be getting the DSI error other than incompatible cards?

LOL, it is PRE beta, don't worry about it, it only plays one game...nothing to be worked up about.
I would not be surprised if the homebrew only was tested with a hand full of SD cards, etc...
I rather wait for a RC (unless crediar askes me te do some testing, because that would be an honor for me). :yaywii:

the only thing that comes to mind is incompatable cards. there is literally nothing else i can think of. ive tried 3 different copys of zelda (none show up) exc none of the settings being changed would make a difference on weather the iso shows on the screen or not. but ye i kinda gave up as it is a beta/alpha

and dml/dm is a completely different thing so dont compare working and non working iso's with that
