There are things like a Wii U Pro to USB adapter that probably would work
http://www.mayflash.com/Products/NINTENDOWiiU/W009.html
Or you could use some GameCube to USB adapter and plug a Wireless GameCube controller into it (like a wavebird)
http://www.mayflash.com/Products/NINTENDOWiiGC/PC051.html
There are also wireless USB gamepads that are NOT Bluetooth. This is what Google gave me:
http://compactiongames.about.com/od/hardware/tp/gamepads.htm
(the first one that says it needs a USB port for the receiver)

i think im gonna get me a wiiu pro adapter...does this adapter also works with the emulators on wiiu?

Just curious, any news outside of the pre-release build about how development is going? I've been following the project for a while but lately it seems to be all about the compatible controllers and -1 errors.

I actually have this one, http://www.mayflash.com/Products/NINTENDOWiiGC/PC052.html
it works pretty good, I could make a video of me using it if you want.
One thing I noticed on both of those, at the bottom where it shows the button mappings it doesn't SHOW the analog portion of the sholder buttons there (of course it also ONLY shows ONE axis for the second analog stick ...) so just wanted to clarify EtahnJay144 , do the analog triggers work fine with that adapter?

well, I only have a ccpro which has no analog buttons, so i dont know. but i havent even tried it with nintendont yet because ive been at my moms, but the reason i got it is because it is compatible.

I have 2 WaveBird controllers that I'm itching to use with Nintendont, unfortunately until there is word that there is a compatible adapter that works properly I'm going to stick with Dios Mios which I have 90% compatibility on my games with other than audio streaming games. It's 2013 who wants to play with a wired controller 10ft or more away from their TV. kinda sux :( it's better than nothing don't get me wrong, but a wireless controller is mandatory IMHO unless there are no other alternatives.

U guys are aware that the pro controller has no analog triggers/ shoulder buttons required for many GC games to play properly right? Why would u want that? It's a shitty remote for GC gaming.

I finally decided to test this thing out, even though I don't have the Wind Waker game (nor I plan on getting it) first I tried updating ios 58 but after downloading it failed to install, then I tried Nintendont and I get a black screen where it says "press A to select game" and "press B for settings" or something with an arrow that does nothing, if I press A my Wii reboots and if I press B I get the settings menu, is this normal? Am I set for Nintendont?

Looks like I'm the only one who prefers a wired controller over a wireless one, if only so that I don't have to keep replacing batteries, of course the better solution would be doing something like the PS3 controller where you can still charge your controller while playing, and it only takes a few minutes to fully charge for hours of playing.

I've tried it on devolution. And the only games that don't work right are super mario sunshine and luigi's mansion.

Cyan Yes i can see the nintendon't loader (with the ios version on top and other info about release...)
I see the games on list, i press on it and wii are ON but video signal go to OFF. I have freeze the video (with tv remote controller) and i see -1errors (i have used the freeze bottom of remote because i can see the -1 errors for about half of second).
I have wii 4,3e black with gc port)

where do i put the controller.ini file?

By the way i do have hid device enabled, and basicaly when i try to load the game all it does is go to a black screen.
