here's that forwarder, for aroma only:
Hmm just tried it and every time it just boots me back to the WiiU menu for some reason.

My old Nintendont channel is still working perfectly so Nintendont isn't the issue.

Do you have the nintendont forwarder installed on the vwii?

The only thing I can think of is that the title id low is different. That's the second half of the full title id. It's how it knows which vwii forwarder to send you to.

Just passing by to say that Retro Fighters BattlerGC works on Nintendont using Mayflash Magic NS adapter on dinput(PS3) mode.

Just paste the 0079_18D2.ini file on your SD:/controllers folder and you are good to go.

I was tring to play RE4 preview disc demo and it showed black screen. (Nintendont, boot with wiiflow on my vwii or wiiu)
I found that when i press L+R+A+B the demo started playing, not sure why though......(I am using gamecube controller + mayflash adapter)

Hi, is it possible to read/write save files on a different device as the one you are loading games from?
So can I make Nintendont play games off usb but save on sd card?

I thought GameCube saves are stored wherever Nintendont is launched from. To be fair the last time I used Nintendont, @FIX94 was still around helping us.
That is true. I had posted a similar question a few months ago. I had Luigi's Mansion on my USB drive and was launching it through USB Loader GX from my vWii. I eventually set it up so there was a Luigi's Mansion icon on my Wii U homescreen so I could launch it direcrly from there and could never figure out why my saves weren't there. Turned out it was because that was installed somewhere different and not on my USB drive so Nintendont wasn't using those saves.

Edit: I wasn't totally correct. Here is the link to the post I made and the response that explained it better than I could. https://gbatemp.net/threads/nintendont.349258/post-9855345

you do realize nintendont is a vwii app right? it will never ever appear on the honebrew launcher for the wiiu side because it isnt a wiiu mode app...

if its getting stuck on memory card make sure your memory card is fat32 and its not locked.
yeah it doesn't appear on vwii homebrew launcher. memory card is unlocked and fat32 and works with literally everything else.

but i recently tried adding some other vwii apps and they don't appear in the vwii homebrew launcher either, so it might be a vwii homebrew channel problem, not a nintendont problem.

vWii apps must be in the sd: /apps/appname folder and the .dol file must be named boot.dol.

That doesnt seem to be the case for me. I launch nintendont app from SD card but saves are stored on USB where my games are as well.

nope, you might launch nintendont itself from sd but when you select usb to choose your isos, usb is monted and nintendont can only mount one device at a time so the moment you swap from sd to usb you are no longer is SD. only one mount device at a time. nintendont cant have them both mounted at the same time, the moment you launch from sd nintendont itself is saved into ram so it can mount usb to read the games without needing to acess the nintendont boot.dol in the sd card.

no the saves are stored where the isos are readed, if the iso is on sd the save will be on sd, if they are on usb the save will be on usb, you can start nintendont from usb and swap to sd and vice versa, that is why you have the option upon starting nintendont, but yeah once games are running there is no way to mount the other device.

Hello, I hope you are well, I don't know if this goes here but hey, I have several original Game cube games that I would like to play on Nintendo since my game cube doesn't have controllers, the question is, is there a way to convert those games on WiiU? to legitimate copies?

no lol the wiiu cant read mini dvds at all.

you could use a regular wii, the wii consoles with gc ports can read mini dvds and you can rip them with an homebrew app to turn them into iso if you want, but its easier just to get some good isos on the web xD

If you go the bolded route make sure to check its MD5 hash against Redump.org.

You need a forwarder on the vwii as well. If the title id is the same, the wuhb forwarder is sent to the vwii forwarder to the sd card. I don't know if it works through usb.

now if you open vwii the homebrew channel not launcher the channel nintendont will be there, unless you got some corrupted files somewhere in that case it would be better to delete the folder and make a new one.

Homebrew launcher is for wiiu stuff only and its on the wiiu side of the apps

homebrew channel is for wii apps and its on the wii side

if you are using the homebrew launcher you wont see any wii apps only wiiu ones and nintendont is not a wiiu mode app.
