so I worked on quite a few things, just uploaded a new version cause I think I did everything I wanted todo today.
-removed disc read speed limit
-pre-reading data when no cache is specified and the game wants to load something with the same data size, this highly reduces the time of animal crossing bootup for example
-added a proper patch for RADTimerRead, with the help of this patch games using Bink Video will play back videos properly (for example megaman collection and scaler)
-removed some unneeded code for the SI interrupt
-using a general ISO reading function which makes sure we dont seek unneeded, this increases general reading for slow HDDs
-slightly increased the sectors you can read from the HDD at once, this helps further to increase reading speed from HDD

Wow! that was a huge amount of changes! thank you! This one will be a good rev to test, I didn't run nintendont since r132 to be honest :P

That part is important for testing.
All those games marked as "Videos play twice as fast" might get some proper playing now. My guess is that the Majora's Mask timer is fixed too?
Also, whoever has the Lord Of The Rings games, you might want to try out this new rev and see if those games are fixed too.

I hope I'm not the only one who had an issue in 1.136 with Smash Bros Melee locking up with a precursory audio skipping. Probably shouldn't have reported it.
if you didnt read through the thread yet, 1.136 was broken so it crashed everywhere.

Anyways, this new version does not fix ANY OTHER TIMER, its only for Bink Video.

Well, it would seem I inadvertently missed that part, this thread updates so fast I have a hard time catching up. My apologies.:(

Which games use Bink Video?

Mega Man Anniversary Collection, Rampage Total Destruction to name a couple.

I'm not one to normally say "fix this game" but if the games that move at double speed were fixed then Nintendont would pass Dios Mios in game compatibility

The compatibility list is so green now compared to 6 months ago where it was 90% red without any sound or memory cards

If a video codec got fixed, I'm confident other things like timer and speed be fixed too.

Can't seem to autoboot with USBLoader GX (r1230) anymore. I'm guessing it's an issue where the memcard size/multi arguments haven't been added yet?

Hey, everyone! I'm gonna tell a magical story on me trying to hack Wind Waker!
I did the thing, got the file and in sneek, I put the .bin file in. Then I generated a Moon Jump cheat for a test.
Put it in games\[GZLE01]\[GZLE01].gct, go to Nintendon't, activate cheat and BAM it doesn't work! What do I do?

It's something to do with the new "version" (NIN_CFG_VERSION) from v1.135.
(Multi saves of memcard is just a new "option" but it's nothing to do with "autoboot")

Should be easy for Cyan to modify/implement to the coming r1231.

I think Cyan explained a bit back something about some codes not working because they try to affect a memory address that's not being used by nintendont. Try using the search in this thread.

I report testing result from nintendont 1.139

All my games works perfectly!
Loading time is ridiculously short, Thanks to Fix94's work!
Memory card with multiple saves is working fine too! Thanks Greyrogue!
Also, I might have missed something, but F-Zero GX doesn't freeze at first chapter mission anymore! :yay: I don't know what you did guys, but it is a good thing!
Everythings is perfect on my side, what about other users here?
