I got a DSI code dump after installing latest IOS58 and running Nintendont via USB HDD on a Wii console.

Edit: Damn, only sd version, ignore this.

I get a lot of distorted audio during the prologue sequence and the title screen, seems mostly random; must be my card.
It's a cheap 16GB micro.

Question before i try this program. Do you need a bluetooth dongle for the PS3 controller or the USB cable?

It's interesting that this is realeased today so now a Wii U is publicly ably to play both Wind Waker HD AND Wind Waker GC (both only in a digital form at that)

Can't wait to try this when I get home. The inclusion of a .H file in the download also make me curious about how to get this to run from a loader. It wasn't immediately obvious so I guess I'll have to look further into that part.

It would only be able to work with a USB cord although that might only work on a Wii U. Haven't tested myself.
So... is a official release out now or is everybody talking about some sort of beta?
It's an alpha version (pre-beta) that can only play Wind Waker and only works off of SD if I'm understanding correctly.

EDIT : Actually, I kinda wonder if you were to do a little hex editing to copy the first 6 bytes of the ISO, how well (if at all) it would play OTHER games if it THOUGHT it was playing LoZ:WW

Thanks! I'll keep being patient :) I have other games to keep me busy so I wont mind the wait.

That is possible, I tried Sonic Heroes and it boots but with horrible audio and it never reaches the load save file screen.
I just tried Sonic Riders with similar results; freezes at "Accessing Memory Card".

Does anyone have a functional mayflash 3 in 1 magic joy box adapter .ini file? Mine keeps returning "HID init failed" so I probably messed it up somewhere.

I'm not quite understanding the "nincfg.bin" bit. Does the program rename it for you when you execute it or what?

I think it might actually create it and the nin_cfg.h is just a way for a USB loader programmer to understand how to edit it (just my guess, need to test still.)

ISO is meant to be in sd:/games/<blahblah>/game.iso as it says in the readme.txt file.

Similar results in a couple of games I tested. Freezed on the in game loading screen or just went to this weird corrupt green screen. This is clearly windwaker-only for a reason.

Crediar said windwaker only right now. He made it so maybe he literally locked it to windwaker. Gives a taste/preview. I like his style and work.

This program really has a lot of potential! B-) What I want to know is when running it on the Wii/vWii, are the controllers USB only (i.e Xbox 360 controllers)?

I think no 360 controllers:-( He tweeted with others and explained some details. I want to say 360.controllers are excluded. Check out his twitter conversations. They are public.

Yeah, 360 controllers are a no-go. They use a different format to communicate. That's why most other USB controllers you can plug into a computer and they're recognized without special drivers but a 360 controller you have to install special drivers for it.

The 360 drivers are automatically installed on Windows 7, I use a wired controller (the wireless ones have a lot of issues) so while I nnever had to install special drivers, they use a different API. I do have PS3 and PS2 controllers though, so I'm good :D Can't wait to try this out.

Wireless 360 controllers need extra software, but wired ones are easy to use on Win7

This will eventually have streaming audio right?
