I think fact it is showing firmware 255.255.255 is normal, same here using Nintendont v5.455, maybe linked to Haxchi/CBHC's firmware spoof ?

Edit: Sorry I refreshed before replying but guys were too fast, anyway bad guess again! Linked to WiiVC so :/

Edit2: Tried to launch Nintendont 3 times in a row and didn't had any display bug under Nintendont... weird! I was thinking about posting screenshots concerning what I am talking about. Maybe it was linked to testing different Nintedont WiiVC and what is cached?!

I was just wondering, everything is working like a charm on my end, I haven't had any problems yet but with sonic mega collection, but that is a old problem with nintendont.

wii vc indeed doesnt appear to have any major issues since its all pre-patched, its for some reason people having problems with regular wii/vwii modes and I dont quite know why yet, at least now I know its a loader freeze though. Basically on wii/vwii all those patches get applied on runtime and that worked just fine in the past, but now for some people it appears to be freezing and I have no clue why that could even happen because for me personally everything runs perfectly fine.

@FIX94 i understand, this is weird, maybe this can help to reproduce the bug, i boot it like this, first turn on wiiu, then open haxchi (direct not use mocha) on sysnand (i not use rednand), then i open homebrew channel 2.1, i choose HBL2HBC to go direct to homebrew launcher on vWii and then open nintendont

well all I do on wii is go into the homebrew channel and start it up, pedro702 tested the same on his wii and wiiu and it was fine so yea, its weird. By the way, this build prints out even more silly text, what does this one give you?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

i dont like coolboot and i hate boot direct on vwii a then open homebrew channel, and apply a fix to use it on widescreen. :)
Iv'e been using CBHC from the beginning and i must say, i think its the best thing to happen to wiiu yet. Thanks fix!!

i am afraid to use CBHC :)

I know, alot of people feel this way about it, It's not that dangerous, you just need to make sure you don't unlink your nnid or format the system. But each to there own.

@FIX94 the last loader(8) works perfect with fowarder (wii vc mode), on vWii the same error (A...) using the method is described above, directly from the start on vWii (pressing B on wii mote) the same error happens (A..)

aha! so it already has trouble in IOS_Open! That is truly getting more and more interesting! Alright, last test file for now:

If this one wont do it either this may be really deep issue.

@FIX94 on forwarder works perfect, on vWii same error (A...) but show loading IOS58 before the error happens

@FIX94 loader(9): works perfect on forwarder, and same error on vWii (A...)
it REALLY doesnt want to open ES anymore huh, so weird, this has to be some really deep issue with some core design somewhere, guess for now I'm out of ideas. its just so weird only for some people this is an issue.
