on nintendont menu there is a options menu so you can choose wich options you want ...

it works like any wii homebrew all you need is a fat32 sd/usb device and the right path to games.

with av cables you cant force 480p since those cables arent compatible with component signal, you need to buy a compoonent cable.

most info your looking for is just on the options menu on nintendont choose then and them start a game.

OK, thanks, would wide-screen still work?

yeah , but remeneber nintendont widescreen hack isnt compatible with all the games some games it doesnt do anything, others makes them crash and others have glitches and them some work perfect xD.

Wait so is multihdd ever going to be implemented? It's very annoying having to disconnect my wiiu game drive everytime I want to try GameCube games

What is a good size for multi mcemu (PAL) games? I got 5 games.
why do you need multi? just let mecemu be individual and you will never need to worry about size since each game will have a simple 2mb card if you choose 251 blocks that is.

Sooo.

Someone uploaded the entire NGC iso set on archive.org Not direct linking so you have to find it yourself.

(archive.org archives a TON of stuff from the internet. One of the most fun things to look up there is the old game manuals! Lost of fun to be had!)

Anyway, just wondering if "origamii" supports transferring from 7zip or winrar formats? As in extracting them while transferring. Would hate to have to extract a lot of these just to transfer them.

IIRC that's only US games, though it's still a fairly sizable collection.

Once I get around to adding GameCube and CISO support to Wii Ultimate Unscrubber, there won't be any need to keep the original 1:1 disc images, since the garbage data can be regenerated. (Bonus points if I integrate unscrubber with the MD5 verifier in Nintendont, in which case a "1:1" MD5 can be generated from a CISO image.)

Thats awesome!

Wondering though how much garbage data there seems to be in a lot of GC games? For wii games, they needed to fill GB's and GB's of data. I find the average wii game is around 1.5gb give or take so each game contains around 2.5-3GB of garbage data. Thats a lot. With GC games though, the disk is only ~1.4gb so there isnt a TON of garbage data seeing as most games are around that 1gb mark give or take.

Essentially I am just looking for a way to go "ok, I have a complete rared up iso set here. I have my vWii HDD with Nintendont. Whats the quickest way to get this set onto that HDD in a Nintendont compatible format"

Also! Whats games out site of the US that weren't available in the US for GC do you recommend are must plays?

No idea honestly. The only non-US games I have are Metroid Prime PAL (has some extra stuff, like 3-missile and 10-missile powerups; those were carried over to Trilogy) and Sonic Heroes JP (they couldn't fit both sets of voice files on the GCN disc, so the US and EU versions only have English).

No, Origamii only supports ISOs. It was only intended to straighten out folder structures and check MD5s. You can unzip them all to one folder, reorganize them then copy the folder, though.

For the Garbage data some Gamecube games are <100 or 200 mb, so 1,1 and 1,2 gb are filled with Garbage data, some games are 1,35 gb so the Garbage data is only few megabytes: it depends from the games.

For the fullset: essentially PAL games are the same of the US region, except that most of them have IT,ES,DE and FRA inside.
A notable exception of a PAL game that is a Lot better than US version is Lugi's mansioni because of the mirrored Ghost house available that extends a Lot the gameplay time, it was absent in US release. I suggest to patch the PAL version with the 60hz patch that allows the "480p option" too: http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/2975/ (it must be with the 1.1 version of the game)

Esclusive games are mostly Japan only: at the time (2002) i imported Winning Eleven 6 Final Evolution (used with a Freeloader because my viper chip wasn't out) since is western edition (pro Evolution soccer) was a ps2 esclusive for Europe and USA region, and still is one of the best soccer games i ever player.
Other notable only jap games are radirgy (If you like scrolling shooters), capitan tsubasa (cartoon style soccer), Lupin the third, DON Battle stadium (Smash Bros with charchters from Dragon Ball, One Piece and Naruto), Nintendo Puzzle collection...

Remember that If you are using Real Memory cards to set emulation ON for these games: a Memory card Can Save both PAL and USA games, but not JAP because Need to be formatted in another way and your card Will be corrupted and you will lose your saves (it happened to me Yesterday while playing Radirgy, i forgot to press the "Save settings" Burton After i've selected "Memory card emulation ON" and i Lost 15 years of saves, but i was lucky cause i made a backup of my MC few weeks ago with GCMM and i was able to restore it).

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Do unofficial memory cards work with this?

Yes, i use a 64 MB Memory card that i have from the GC era.

Nintendont v4.430, "TRI Arcade Mode" cannot be set to ON, pressing A on that option toggles "Video Mode" instead.
Yeah, this is a known minor bug. If you set it with a previous version and start a game, it'll remain set with v4.430.

This should be fixed with the next release (hopefully over the weekend).

How do I update, with USB Loader GX?
Start Nintendont by itself, select a device, press B for settings, then X/1 for the updater. Select a component to update.

If I do manage to get my pull request finished by the weekend, it'll also have a fix for PAL games in CISO format and a new Game Info screen for viewing more information about the selected game.
