i heard some usb flashdrives that didnt work now work but not sure about those hdds from before since ppl didnt posted their trys at all.

my old non self powered hard drive still doesnt work, so i dont believe that it fixed the problem for the hard drives

so back to the same old stage:

1. make organized reports (I haven't seen anything yet) AND
2. donate a drive to FIX

I would say its hopeless if ppl continue their attitude of reluctant to help (themselves)

I'm willing to donate my old drive, however, im job hunting right now. As soon as i have a job again, im willing to pay for the shipping.

Delete the ninconfig.bin on the root of the device where the games are stored.

Thanks for you answer... i deleted the bin config.bin and works... but if, i dont played any game i get a black screen... i need to play one game to return to loader in my case system menu (forwarder)... in HBC everything working fine... What am I doing wrong...

Everyone complaining about people don't giving feedback - I have problematic USB flash drive. But as I'm at work 12h/day and 7 days in a week please forgive me lack of feedback, sometime I have more time but it doesn't happen very often.

please don't take this as me complaining i just want to give some feedback on on the latest version, ok so i updated to the latest 299 but most of my saves seem to have disappeared, seems i have to create new ones. anyone know where i can find old builds so i can see if my saves are working on previous builds,

also i cant seem to get my ds3 pad to work i installed the controller.ini file on root of usb drive and have ds3 connected on second usb port but it dont seem to work, no response at all.

i did not use 298, was on 296 before updating to 299

saves are fine for me on 299 every save you acessed on 298 became corrupt but 299 is working perfectly on my end.

I was using 299 when my saves corrupted, as well.

Are you sure, because uptill now no other people reported 299 to corrupt.
I was a victim too, and it only happenend on 289 for me, i retested it a few times..

Yep. I was on 299 when the saves corrupted. I even started fresh (deleted the old saves and had new save files created) and those corrupted as well. I switched back to 295 and all is well.

I think this is what you want. If you want anything even further back, just replace the revision number with the one you're after

try this one and see if your saves work but just incase backup your saves before trying.

For non veteran testers, please understand these are test builds, back up your save files and be ready for errors while the USB code is stabilize, please make sure that nincfg.bin is deleted as well.
