This isn't really the place to start this kind of discussion...or this kind of thread, actually.
Where's a mod when you need one?

It's the new update that's coming.
But it's entirely speculation, it could be 11.0 for all we know.
Nintendo went directly from 1.1 to 2.0, 2.2 to 3.0, 3.0 to 4.0, 4.5 to 5.0, 5.1 to 6.0, 6.3 to 7.0, 7.2 to 8.0, 8.1 to 9.0, 9.0 to 9.2.
That's 9 times they skipped to the next major revision, they could easily do it again.

Does it really mater? We're just calling it 10.2 for now.

Ironhax is going to work on 10.2.

The more I read, the less I understand... I thought Ironhax could only work on the future system update if they do not fix the failure it exploits?

I don't understand what you just said. If you have Ironfall 1.0 or 1.1 then it'll still be exploitable on 10.2. The only reason Ironhax wouldn't work is if you updated it to 1.2.

Thank you. I'm sorry, I wrongly understood that some part of what lets the homebrew start through ironhax was coming from the 3DS system.
