short question: Is the Nintendo Switch Pikachu & Eevee Edition hackable in its shipped firmware-version?
And what firmware-version is it shipped with? Below 7.0.1 ?

Ah alright ...
So the most of them were shipped with 4.1.0 it seems ..
So as long as they are < 8.0.0 there should be a chance of them being hackable some when in the (near) future, right?
I read something about firmware 8 is killing some opportunities for hacking.. but I'm not very up-to-date in the scene right now
A friend wanted to buy one of the Pokemon Editions and asked me about the status ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Check serial number on box, no need to wait.

My Pikachu bundle isn't ipatched. My other one is. I think I got very lucky but be sure to check !

Serial # won't tell you anything on these since they have new serial #s. Mine did.

Most likely patched however.
