I actually want to know the scale of these issues. Every console/hardware launch has problems.
What's the big deal?
The freezes can be solved with a reboot most times. (and if your console is completely frozen I bet ninty would replace it for you)
The hardware issues can be solved by taking care of it.
This is breaking News. A console never had defects before.
It's really hard to gauge the actual proportion of these issues nowadays, since people complaining on social networks get a lot more visibility than in the past.
Any console is going to have issues for a given % of users, there's hardly any way to escape it, the question is how high the problem rate is.
So far: this one guy. I definitely would've done a return/exchange with that unit instead of bitching about it on Youtube like it's widespread.
I just don't get it..
The joycon issue.. Okay..
Half that video was people not paying attention when putting on the grips. There's literally a fucking - and + to guide you. If people are really this dumb.. I just.. I don't know...
Did anyone see the issue with the Note 5? I mean... How can you mess up so badly that you need someone to hold your hand through the process.
I gotta say, all these issues that people are having is making me never want to buy a switch and start hacking it. This is all rather sad.
Sliding on the straps of the controllers incorrectly. I was particularly shocked they let that one reach the masses. Seems far too easy to get wrong. I first saw it here:
crowbcat is kinda gay tbh
That's a surprise to me as well, but they're quite easy to get off without using force.
