I use AutoRCM since I don't have a jig and I actually fully power down my console rather than keeping it in sleep mode.

The power off but with AutoCRM has been fixed? I've read that many people turn off the switch but it still drains the battery.

I turn it off if I don't plan on playing it again before going to sleep. I only leave it on sleep mode if I will play soon. The reed switch on the joycon makes it very easy to boot to Sx os.

You just have to take out the right joy con, insert the jig, press volume up and power and insert the dongle, right?

No the problem with AutoRCM is people did not know how to properly turn off the console when using AutoRCM. I conducted many tests and found out that you can only turn off a console with AutoRCM installed from RCM. You can read up on my findings here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/psa-man...es-not-turn-off-a-switch-with-autorcm.515402/

To enter RCM and then load CFW? Yes.

Another Update since I'm now on 6.0.0. Updated about a hour after it went live. Using CFW about 95% of the time, unless I cause a crash and don't want to grab my Jig. 100% Stiill unbanned. Again, no piracy in the slightest, no NSPs, only untrimmed XCI's of my legit games and eShop games. Thinking of looking into emuNand, but not 100% yet. All in all, what I can say so far is the following.

1. Using SX OS in and of itself, without stealth will not get you banned. Or atleast, it hasn't for me in the past few months.
2. Purchasing games on the eShop frequently may help, but doing so in SX OS is not banworthy at this point.

Summed up... I've read loads of posts saying just using SXOS online will get you banned, and I'm pretty sure this is false. Piracy get's you banned. That's been proven, but so far so good for me.

Planning on selling my Switch this week, I'm fucking dreading it getting banned between now and when it sells. I hope Nintendo can just unban them, but I'm sure Nintendo will ask them where I live so they can come and execute me in my sleep.

  1. The Dragon Injector is by far the best external modchip you can ask for, outclassing any other dongle or SX product
  2. While I don't believe there is a 'best' CFW, I have made a pros and cons chart of all of the CFW
Cons of ReiNX, Atmosphere, etc.
-no raw .XCI loading

Pros of ReiNX, Atmosphere, etc.
-can do everything SX OS can and more
-creport to prevent error reports from being sent to Nintendo by moving them to the SD card
-blocking o
Thanks for the link.
I think I’ll avoid AutoCRm due to the charging issues.

I see there are different types of AutoRCM and that they are not compatible one another.
Could it be that ReiNXs AutoRCM works well ?

Additional Comments

I've installed NSP but restored the clean NAND afterwards before using the OFW, because I didn't know about the higher risk using NSP. Currently I'm just using XCI and no NSP anymore.
I'm using seperate mSDXC for CFW and OFW and a seperate user account for playing XCI games (not connected with a Nintendo account).

All fine so far.

When I say they are not compatible with each other, I mean they are installed and uninstalled differently which is you would never install or uninstall AutoRCM using different methods; always uninstall AutoRCM using the same tool that was used to initially install it. Functionally, all forms of AutoRCM are identical meaning they all share the same advantages as well as problems; picking one over the other will not change any of AutoRCM's related "issues".
