I’ve got all my Nintendo magazines in a big blue box and wrapped in a black bin bag and it’s put up the loft but I will certainly try and find it and post a picture up I used to buy the magazine every month.

SUPER PLAY!!!! That was the big one in the UK! I had the whole lot and randomly dumped the whole lot in a skip in my early 20's because i thought they were worthless :(

I did originally have loads of them but I went through them all many years back and threw a lot away but I kept quite a few back for nostalgia reasons.

I thoroughly enjoyed this look back. I remember receiving this exact issue in the mail! Nintendo Power was always a treat to find in the mail

Wow, you must be like half a century old.

More seriously, that magazine had a limited release and lasted only a few years. Is not as rare to find as the Nintendo Arcade games shorts, like the Donkey Kong show with Mario and Pauline, but is still quite rare to see one of those magazines.

Several of mine got destroyed by my messy room when I was a kid. Man, if I could go back in time and lecture myself on the importance of safekeeping... I was not a very responsible child. :(

Big lol!! Not quite my friend, it was originally one off my elder brothers magazines he used to buy the same magazine so he’s 5 years older than me but I kept on buying Nintendo Magazine System many years later, it was him that got me into gaming.

Speaking of Nintendo magazines, the first ever witness of a BLJ (or Backwards Long Jump) was actually two Mexicans, before the 16 star thread on the old Super Mario 64 forums.

Pretty sure I attended ECTS in 1999 with Codemasters. I was working with them as a play tester (amongst other things) on Prince Naseem, and a Toca game.

I remember seeing Conker running, there was a huge booth for it but I don’t remember it being playable... oh and I definitely remember seeing Cannon Fodder for GBC... blew my mind.

I wonder if I could find pictures that would remind me more if I scanned through these mags at around that time. That would be ace!
