ooo, theres a newly designed GC controller with a home button there

maybe you can navigate the system menu with the analogue stick

and perhaps there is a possibility of using the GC controller to get back to wii mode from GC mode?? which of course means access to wii mode in GC mode.

or maybe i'm thinking to hard about it lol

i might do that anyway my wii's side flap is held on with tape and is missing two rubber pads.
yet i somehow managed not to lose a single screw while opening it and i've done that quite a few times..
