Will it work for the G6 Lite? If so, what settings?

Needed:
----------

- DS-Xtreme (Slot1)
- Supercard or M3 (Slot2) NOTE: Supercard Rumble Series will not work, Dunno about the M3 Proffesional, since those don't support GBA anymore (have no internal RAM anymore)
- DS or DS Lite
- European version of the Nintendo DS Browser dump

How to do it
----------------

* Patch your dump with the correct bdf patch according to your slot2 cart
* Place the patched browser on your DS-Xtreme
* Put your M3 (Any M3 that has internal RAM) in the GBA slot
* OR Put your Supercard (Not the Rumble series) in the GBA slot
* Power up DS (Hold Select when powering up if your DS is flashed)
* Start the DS-Xtreme
* Start Apps
* Start Nintendo DS Browser
* Set your Settings (only 1 time needed)
* Happy Browsing the net with your DS and DS-Xtreme in the SLOT1 and your M3/SC in the GBA Slot

Boy am I happy i never sold my SC and M3 when i got my DS-Xtreme

!

It doesn't work in combination with EWIN2
EZ4 ?

whats the point in this s***.

mite aswell go n buy the 30quid one in shops rather than spend 100 on a DS-x.

no point imo

Some already have Supercard or M3 and aquired a DS-X

So this way you still have some use for the old flashkits

It's for people who do have the things needed. Besides I think TRiFORCE just did this as a challenge, I'm sure it'll give a kick when you manage to do this kind of stuff.

Agree on that, the prolly just wanted to proof it could be done.

The prolly did it for the DS-Xtreme just cause the had one.
So ppl with DS-Link or Acecard should try the patched rom run it through the patching software and see if it also works for them

Oh...

Well, why even bother? I'd probably praise him if this benifited more of the flash cart community except for a select 4 or 5 people. >>;

It ever occur to you guys, the reason why we don't see more hacks of stuff being released is because of this kind of attitude?

("OMG, I can't do anything with it so it sucks!")

They probably did it for themselves, and then graciously shared it with the rest of us with the thought that "maybe someone else would like it too..."; not to mention the classic "this will shut those idiots up who keep parroting 'it cant be done, its impossible'".

Who benefits by someone taking some really wacky and expensive hardware that most cant afford let alone understand, and do something like figure out the initial protocols of something, like say, the DS slot? (in case you are wondering, almost nobody here, since no one here probably has the hardware and knowledge to do anything with it)

Well, this is a great beginning; what we need now is the possibility to run the rom from the same cart as where the RAM is... i wonder if this is possible at all

That what I was going to say. But You said it.

There's always negativity to anything that's released (software & hardware-wise) so I don't think it's that surprising..

Sad thing in life, you can't please everyone..

But back on topic, so to the people that have got it working.. Have you run into any freezes/crashes?
