Nintendo Developing App for iOS, Android

I think they're just trying to expand their fan-base to people who are not into Pokémon. Whatever may be the case, if it's free then most likely it will be somewhat popular.

To sum it up:

- Nintendo is realizing people like iDevices
- Nintendo knows people love Pokemon
- Nintendo will market on this with a game produced for about $15 that will sell for $5

Eh. What caught my attention was that Playstation Suite thing being able to emulate PS2 games. Pretty sure there is no phone as powerful as a PS2 yet.
they obviously haven't ever used an xperia play, the playstation suite still isn't available on any devices yet, and there are still very few details on it, and it can only play PSX games through a custom emulator by sony (obviously locked down), there is no ps2 support and i doubt there ever will be

Makes Reggie a even bigger hypocrite. Reggie claimed all phone games are disposable garbage. He specifically spoke of Angry birds and what game is on the dsi/3ds? Nintendo, needs to fire Reggie and replace him with someone who doesn't look like a Mario on drugs.

Er, I just saw this on Serebii, but it seems Nintendo is sending this out for..... Free.

Odd..... Not much new info, but I don't think I saw the price anywhere...

Reggie is sure a weird guy.
No more angry birds 3DS anymore I guess.

But it's the pokemon company making this. Won't nintendo disapprove?

EDIT: off topic but, can someone explain to me what happened to halo DS?

Nintendo IS the Pokemon Company.

Besides, it's got a copyright Nintendo thing.

P.S. Reggie's an idiot.

Since this is a free app, Nintendo is probably using this as advertising.

Who else agrees? Nintendo isn't making money from it.
But they better do a good job. Or else it will end up the opposite

Microsoft bought Bungie to stop them for making Halo games for other systems. Microsoft allowed Bungie to later split from them and become their own separate company again. However the splitting was under the condition of Microsoft getting to keep Halo. Microsoft never cared about Bungie's other works. From the very beginning it was all about making Halo an exclusive title for Microsoft owned and produced systems.

So that's what happened.

I don't care what halo. I just want great games by bungie on various platforms!

Man, after reading this, I'm further considering whether I should get the next halo game, or should halo reach be my last

this will be the first time a Nintendo 1st-party title won't be on Nintendo hardware that we know of, especially a Pokémon title.

Ninty-Licensed Pokemon Game on Sega Pico

That is all.

never knew THAT existed!

edit: it is freakin' hot in the USA.

There's actually a lot of pokemon games on non-ninty hardware: That one, Another one for the Sega Beena (Pico 2) and, earliest of all of the non-ninty hardware pokemon games IIRC and one I owned as a kid, Pokemon Project Studio (red or blue) for PC. (I owned red)

Still, this does seem to be a cool little music game. Now all there is left to do is see if it makes it out of Japan.
