Hacking Nintendo 3ds/XL :Swapnote possible exploit/hack

- I have a degree in computer science.
- I have worked with FPGA's from Altera and Xilinx.
- I have developed in VHDL and Verilog using Quartus, ModelSim and ISE
- I know programming in C, C + +, VHDL, Verilog, Java, VB ...

And yet I do not think the 3ds can be easily hacked.

Use your excitement and transform into knowledge first, then dedication, and it will take you anywhere.

If you want to be the person who made the 3ds hack, you still have a lot to study first ...

3DBrew members are actively mapping 3DS registers, they're adding new content all the time - it's just that you don't understand what this content means.

They have a working User Mode exploit, now they need to map the registers. Without doing that, they won't be able to create functions, without functions there will be no SDK to speak of, with no SDK there will be no homebrew - that's how ROP programming works. They have no intention of releasing a Kernel exploit so this is a must - they only use theirs for research purposes.

Gateway doesn't run any unsigned code. That means no homebrew, no 3DS OS modifications, nothing like that.

The Gateway isn't a hack. It's not even an exploit.

It's considered a hack that allows for piracy it may not let you use homebrew or rom hacks but that doesn't mean its not a hack.
