The DSiWare/DSWare store is confirmed, as they said it'd have full backwards compatibility with the DS and DSi. And the microphone on the DSi works just fine... ._.

I would order the list in order of confirmation status. Have all of the confirmed facts first, followed by updating, then rumour.

Wasn't the analogue stick rumour confirmed when they looked at that motherboard thing? that's one of the few things that I care about since it brings my dream of an Ocarina of Time port and Super Smash Bros game just a bit closer

They never said full compatibility:

Ok it doesn't indicate that there won't be full compatibility but its obvious that games that require the GBA slot wont work seeing there wont be a GBA slot. Wth the DSi they tend to separate DSi and DSiWare software, just like they do with Wii & WiiWare so no real confirmation that DSiWare will work.

Knowing Nintendo they'll keep the DSiWare titles but sell then as 3DSWare or whatever they call it. Don't count on being able to transfer games you bought on your DSi to 3DS.

Well they're definitely not doing it for fun, so either the name IS going to be 3DS, or they just wanted to be safe.
And no, Nintendo themselves didn't confirm anything about the name yet.

Remember that they did trademark a shitload of Gameboy names in the past (Gameboy Xtreme anyone?), Nintendo could just be covering their asses so that no one can release something called a 3DS if they do name it something else.

Companies do this all the time, Rockstar did the same for the GTA series, they trademarked GTA: Tokyo several years ago and since then they've released four GTA titles that didn't even feature Tokyo.
