Secrets of 3ds that will be revealed in the decapping fundraiser.

Main Processor (CPU): ARM 11 Dual Core 2 GHz. (1500 Mhz clock speed)
Primary Memory (RAM): 128 MB. Inside the console there is a chip Fujitsu mB82M8080-07L, this chip has been analyzed, and thanks to X-rays have been unable to find two 512 Megabits dies each, which makes it a RAM of 1024 MB. The RAM of the new Nintendo handheld is low power, high speed, is of type Fast Cycle RAM (FCRAM), and the RAM is capable of reaching a speed of 4.2 GB / sec.
Dedicated video memory (VRAM): 4 MB
Graphics Processor (GPU): 350 MHz PICA200 DMP
Fpu co-processor at 133 MHz (for emulator ds and 3ds internet browser).

It's a decapping fundraiser not an overclocking fundraiser.

ARM11's don't come in that speed.

You know what would be funny, and awesome? If Nintendo made a huge security flaw and left the signing and encryption keys on it. :creep:

does not want to start any discussion on this forum but someone had said that other teams would try to hack the 3DS, these teams had any progress?

We have not heard of any other teams trying.

People have been talking complete bullshit as usual.

So is someone (or a team) still working on hacking the 3DS?
It looks like all interest is gone in hacking the 3DS software-wise, since the Gateway is announced.

Lol, love that site. The Gateway card can get blocked for all I care  Rydian, I was reading the Nintendo Zone info page, and yellows8 says its possible to create your own with the info, except im not sure how, you got any ideas, because that would be awesome.

I seriously hope we get some decent info from the decap... Team Yellmod really needs the "intelligene".

Its actually quite simple. Just name your router's SSID "Bestbuy" (without the "s of course, case sensitive)

Yes, ive been reading a bit, but I cannot enable any encryption to the network, SCREW that. Mac Address filtering, at best, is a piece of crap.

What i think, is that there won't be a hack released very soon, i (personally) think that we can except a (proper) user mode hack around next year.

Maybe, but thats if a proper exploit comes around. Also, id love to see people try to program user-land applications in a ROP environment XD Im not sure that would end well, or quickly for the programmer.

Unfortunately, if flashcarts like the Gateway get better, then it wont matter if we have a kernal exploit out, people will be pirating.... Might as well help out people who actually back up their games, and make easy backup programs homebrew applications (rip from cart, use on your 3DS like a downloaded game, amazingness).
