Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus to be a Vita launch title in USA.

BURLINGAME, Calif. January 6th, 2012 – TECMO KOEI AMERICA and Team NINJA announced today that NINJA GAIDEN SIGMA PLUS, a launch window title for the PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system, will be released on February 22nd 2012.

Interesting news, mainly because this could mean there are even more vita day-one launch titles that have yet to be revealed.

I'm more curious about seeing how many more words they can squeeze into that title than the game itself, to be entirely honest.

They announced today something that they have had on their website for a few weeks already? The Ninja Gaiden Sigma + has had a February 22, 2012 release date for a while already. Sony was the one who messed up by calling it launch window when it already had a launch date.

Also, that was always a speculative date, it wasn't 100% official until today.

Are Ninja Gaiden games good? I was thinking of trading in my iTouch and picking up a Vita...

Yeah they are awesome and pretty challenging too. Check out some vids on YT.
This is like the 4th or 5th time this game has been released and it'll still sell loads so that says something.

NG3 is also due this year on consoles and I can't wait!

Ninja gaiden on a handheld...
Sounds good on paper, but That game is a royal pain in the ass without a proper controller. It's a mess on the PS3, for example. Dunno how I feel about a vita version...

Despite that, i'll be getting it.
