Hacking nice homebrew idea

So i been playing around trying to build a chatroom for the wii but i am shit with C so i eventually gave up but if anyone else wants to do this that has a better grasp of C they could make a wii gbatemp chatroom I think it would be quite successful but what do i know lol

Why not port an IRC client to the Wii. "All" you need to add is a virtual keyboad and usb keyboard support, but you would need that anyway.

Chat capabilitys for the wii have been discussed plenty of times, and it'll probaply get released not too long from now.
I don't see any reason to make another thread about it, and i think homebrew ideas belong in the homebrew section.
