Not really, while funkeycia still works you still have to look up title ids manually which is even more of a pain than freeshop+decrypt9. Both cdn-fx and 3dsestuff are gone and I don't know of any replacements that actually create cias.
3DSeSTUFF never went away, it's still available from here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-3dsestuff-another-funkeycia-wrapper.426420/

The community metadata is still updated. The only hinderence is since the URL address changed for the site it pulls the keys from, you now need to import decTitleKeys.bin, encTitleKeys.bin and seeddb.bin via the Tools menu manually. Other then that it still works just fine.

To be honest neither DSTWO+ or other flashcarts have had a disgusting os or the card was badly crafted, so I bet we can expect nice materials (that can be used for a flashcart of course) and considering the designs we've already seen I don't see why wouldn't it have a bad look (except for plug&play which won't need any of those, of course)

the DSTWO had the best looking os for a NDS flashcard imo

Yeah, plus it had an extra processor which allowed it to emulate GBA.
Guess if Stargate will also be quite powerful and what method will it use to run emulators, since it's an hybrid NDS/3DS flashcart there's a chance it's also more powerful and runs them directly

we don't know a lot about this card, what we got is just a teaser.

I also wonder if it would be able to select 3ds roms like all nds flashcard does.
tbh I don't see how you would change NDS Mode/.3ds mode

Can't ensure it of course, but i would say 3ds roms are loaded the same way Sky3ds does, using the built in buttons. But that would make difficult to change to NDS mode so who knows, it may be a button combination that you have to press, or maybe 3ds loading menu (not probable though). Another chance is that one button is used to change to NDS mode and the other is used to change to 3DS mode and switch between games. There's a lot of possible combinations that could be going on

Maybe if you are looking at it via a ds, but looking at it on a 3ds its garbo just like every other cart sadly.

Nds carts look as good as they look in nds. Obviously if we could load them full screen they'd look much better but it's not any bad. And DSTWO menu was actually nice. I'm curious about Stargate's, if it would have a custom menu or is based in wood

DS games do actually look somewhat blurry on the 3DS, but this is not the fault of any cart. It's because the resolution of the 3DS screen is not a multiple of the DS screen, meaning some kind of filtering is necessary to avoid artifacting. That, or forcing the game to display as 1-to-1 with no scaling.

It's perfectly functional, but I'd always use my DSi XL instead.

I'm not talking about how the games look.. I'm talking about how the card feels in your hand like shit.. And when you boot up the card the menu, the themes, etc look like crap.. I want the OS to feel as lively as it does when i boot my 3ds..

it look/work great on the 3ds

You sir, need glasses then lol
