Gaming Newer Games Freezing During Beginning.

I haven't used my 360 since Bayonetta. Recently I downloaded Halo Reach, The new Castlevania, and Enslaved. After I've reached the main menu and selected new campaign, all three of these games freeze about 20 seconds later during their intro sequences.
I've re burnt and redownloaded all three from different sources and get the same error.
What's the deal? Has there been some kind of essential update recently? Because that would be a bit of a pain as I didn't flash my own 360.

There's no 'essential' update, my JTAG plays Castlevania and Enslaved just fine and that obviously hasn't had any updates. Try a different 'rip'.
