Which post are you wanting to reply to? As far as I know replies aren't restricted by being new, only posting links etc and maybe messaging people directly?

I tried to post the URL and it prevented me from doing so with reasons stated below:

There are far better usefull ways to increase your post count, instead of spamming on threads.

Or necrobumping - the definition of 'necrobumping' is to post on a thread that hasn't been active for 1 or more years with nothing innovative to contribute to the conversation. Even newbies cannot seem to look at how long the OP has been active for, and whether they still post here.

This form of spam is frowned upon and will end up getting you a warn from the moderators.

You have to join said group before you're allowed to do that. And no, it's not a matter of XP at all.
