Hardware New3ds maximum sd card size ?

Im wondering what the max size supported is.
128 GB is now like 40 euro's so I want to use that..

Will I have problems? I read around, some people saying things about data loss/corruption on 64 gb? 128 even possible?

128GB works fine, but the more stuff you have on your SD card the longer the 3DS will take to boot (it's only a few seconds difference at worst)
There's no real limit to the size.
I haven't heard of any issues with corruption as a result of the size, that doesn't make sense.

i have a N3DS with 128GB. i have 32GB free and it dont take much longer to boot (only 1-2 sec)

The bigger the card/more crap to read at startup the longer it takes but as long as its a class 10 or better card you shouldn't have any trouble.

If you're a fan of Monster Hunter then 16GB is way too little, they are around 3 GB each. A lot of other games are 3-4 GB each as well. It quickly becomes a hassle to switch games when you need to wait for an up to 45min-1hr install each time depending on the game size. If you feel like playing a game, but you don't have it installed so you set it to download (or copy over the CIA from your PC or whatever and install it) you will probably have lost interest by the time it's done installing (or maybe you didn't have time to wait for it to begin with)

I have 64 GB on my N3DSXL, its more than enough. At least for me. I have like 25 GB free after all worthy games are installed

Edit: 16 GB are too little for my collection. 32 or 64 is optimal IMO.

If I wanted to install MH generations, MH 4 ultimate and MH3 ultimate, that would be like 5.7GB. I just checked their sizes.

But yeah, maybe 16GB is a little too small.

I have a 128GB sd card. I've used up 70GB and I still have a few more games to buy so I hope I don't actually fill the dang card up before the 3DS lifespan is done.
