Wrong, because you break the signature once you touch one bit of the DLC.
Also XM360 does not resign anything, it unlocks the content by modifying it in a way to make it look like you purchased it.
Thank you for the explanation. I guess the the console's public key would have to be found first. Interesting though that we are able to resign save files with tools and they work with no problem on the X360.

Is there a way to setup custom paths for homebrew dashboards to possibly use the hacked Original Xbox emulator to play non-supported games?
I know not all games will work but, it would nice to be able to play more games.

(It would also be great if the updated WiiStation emulator was ported to Xbox 360)

I can see myself using to this exploit to copy the nand before a rgh. I fucked up once and bricked my model e with a bad nand dump.
It's too late now, but it's recommended to make multiple NAND dumps and compare them to make sure they are the same and there is no corruption. If the connections are bad, each dump will result in a different file. 3 dumps is good enough.

This, you can't sign content without private keys, if it was that easy we wouldn't need CFW.

Save files are a little different, the keys have to be accessible since the console is normally able to write them.
XBLA/GoD/DLC content is normally only created by M$ and the console is only able to read/verify them (using the public key) but not write them.

Yeah, I got matching nand message on j-runner. They both where 0bit 🤡

But if this exploit gets to work on a demo and maybe get more stable there is little reason not get a extra copy before even opening the Xbox.

@InvoxiPlayGames
I see that FreeMyXe can now load a Xell binary.
The code shows that it looks for xell-1f.bin or xell-gggggg.bin.
I wonder if FreeMyXe does actually differentiate between all the different variants?
Because there like 100 XeLL versions out there:
JTAG XeLL: xell-1f (oldies) xell-2f (modern)
RGH XeLL: xell-gggggg

But there are also different xell-2f variants, one from Octal450 and one from 15432 that has special eMMC functionality.

If FreeMyXe doesn't care what XeLL you load, I wonder if it wouldn't be better to just look for xell.bin and let the users load any XeLL variant they have laying around (or also just make it look for xell-2f.bin).
If you google for xell-1f.bin you can find people on reddit having a hard time finding it, or don't understand the difference.

nah i rather get an rgh 3 at this rate if the exploitable games keep getting scalped

pretty sure gamestop has been destroying copies since the exploit was announced too

Rock Band Blitz now supports the BadUpdate exploit - works with either the XBLA trial or full version.

Now you don't need to buy an overly expensive game to do it. :D

I wouldn't put it past them but I'm genuinely curious what makes you think GameStop has been destroying copies? lol
