Has this been discussed here? I cannot seem to find it. What methods have been discovered to combat this new preventative measure Nintendo has taken against the installation of modchips? If someone can point me in the right direction on the board, I'd appreciate it.

I read somewhere that you can remove the epoxy with acetone.

You could also remove it using a hot air gun and a scalpel as seen in this video.

I was going to say, a heat gun / hairdryer with some acetone cleanup and that should solve the problem. I'd be pretty damn careful with a razor blade of any type that close to circuit traces....
