Homebrew New WiiMC doesnt play MKV?

I am trying to use the newest WiiMC to watch some MKV files and they just kinda hang at the loading part. I can hear the first 2 seconds of audio then it just freezes.

Are there any other people with this problem? Is there another media player I can use that does not have this issue? Thanks.

well if you don't mind the "update prompt" then downgrade to a different version. i'm still hanging with 1.1.5 an it play any/every thing i throw at it. i haven't had a code dump with this version in a long time.( i stick with this cause also i have an older mod that lets me use themes,check my spoiler)
